Try putting your iPhone into "Airplaine" mode. It's possible that the radio frequencies from your phone are interfearing with the speakers in your sound dock.

SOURCE: bought my iphone 5 and am unable to charge using both the plug and computer. however am able to charge using the iphone 4 plug. please help!

your iphone 5 doesn't charge using the wall plug? Sounds like it may be a DOA plug, cable, or phone! I would take it to apple or try to find someone else with the new lightning connector.

SOURCE: Generac 12KW questions, will not keep battery charged. I have replaced the 5Amp fuse and battery is not charging

These older units have a hardwired 2 amp battery charger. Usually installed in the generator near the battery or in the transfer switch. If the 5 amp fuse is good the battery charger will need to be replaced. Generac part # 0G8023.

My battery on the iPhone 4s has trouble at times keeping its charge, it seems as though there is nothing running in the background. How much would another batter cost?

For a 4S, it really won't be worth the price of replacing the battery. But if you are set on keeping the same phone instead of buying a new one, there are a couple things to keep in mind to keep your phone running well.

1. Turn your phone all the way off and all the way back on at least once every 2 days. This refreshes everything and its amazing how many problems it will fix before they even start.

2. Don't be afraid of letting your battery die every once in awhile. Its actually good for it. Charge your phone all the way, and then let it run all the way down without charging it until AFTER the battery dies.

3. Don't charge your phone until you have to. Charging when you still have 70% will just put unnecessary wear on your battery. A good rule of thumb is to wait until it is down to 20%, or even 10% if you dare.

And it all else fails, spend $15-25 on a lipstick-sized portable charger and carry it with you for those times when you need a quick boost.

Hope that helps!

Why won't my iPhone 4 keep a charge beyond 4%

It may be the battery or the battery indicator. To fix indicator you need to restore phone in itunes. To fix battery or replace battery - apple can do that for you for 80 bucks.

Battey low very fast

Losts of things such as apps, wifi, bluetooth, etc. will drain a battery fast. Turn these off to see if that fixes the problem.

If you are referring to a battery that charges but loses substantial charge fast then more than likely the battery needs to be replaced as it is going bad.

I have had my i phone for three days but will not charge beyond 50..percent...help

If the re-chargeable battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and gradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR The battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced. Rechargeable batteries will fail if stored in a discharged state for long periods.

It's possible that there is a short in the battery cell and/or that you got water in the divice. My experience with Apple is that their customers are #1. Give them a call and they should at least get you to a point of if they will fix it for free or how much it will cost you.

Most likely your iPhone battery is dead. If you have the AppleCare and hasn't expired Apple will replace your iPhone battery free of charge.

If it has expired you can pay about $50 (I think) and Apple will replace the battery. If you think that's too much go to Amazon/Ebay and look for an "iPhone Battery Replacement Kit." Remember if you do decide to do the battery replacement yourself. You're voiding your Apple warranty & they won't replace it.
