When I press the push to talk button on my Motorola talkabout 250 there is a constant beeping noise and I cannot transmit

Generally a constant beep is the sign of a low or bad battery. However, it is noted the TalkAbout 250 is operated with AA batteries, and it is likely you have considered this and changed batteries. You might check your battery contacts, and clean them with a pencil eraser to assure they are making good connection. Otherwise, you may have a failing radio.

Best regards.

Alternating green and orange light with constant beeps

Verify that the usb to ups cable is pluggled in properly. Also you may not have a good ground. Disconnect the ups and plug it in another outlet to test with nothing else plugged into it, to see if it still beeps. You can also try and upgrade the ups software from apc.com

My 24v 1500w inverter cuts out when i use my 700w microwave?

Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman";} The starts up power for some appliances we use at home are sometimes higher than their actual power. For example a fridge will start with a power of 2 to 3kva then after start up it goes down to its normal power of 700va to 1kva .
Your inverter will continue to switch off if your if you battery is
  1. Low i.e. it is not fully charged
  2. Has a low ampere rating
The solution is to get a battery with a higher ampere rating like 200ampere/hour and above, connect it in parallel to the other battery i.e. the positive terminal to the positive terminal, the negative terminal to the negative terminal. This additional will accommodate the excess power needed for the microwave to start up.

Note that it is not advisable, to use this type of power appliance on a small inverter .Use a battery with the same volt rating i.e. a if you use a 24volts battery get another 24volts battery with a higher ampere rating

I am getting these directly from the user manual (available here: http://www.apcmedia.com/salestools/ASTE-6Z7VAQ_R3_EN.pdf)

Issue: On Battery - UPS is supplying battery power to the load connected to the Battery outlets.

Visual Indication: Power On LED - ON (off during beep)

Audible Indication: Beeping 4 times every 30 seconds

Stops When: UPS transfers back to Power On operation, or when UPS is turned off.

- OR -

Issue: Sleep Mode - During On Battery operation the battery power has been completely exhausted and the UPS is waiting for utility
power to return to normal.

Visual Indication: None

Audible Indication: Beeping once every 4 seconds

Stops When: Utility power is restored, or if utility power is not
restored within 32 seconds, or the UPS is turned off.

All other issues are CONSTANT tones, which you did not specify, or there are no audible tones associated with it.

Constant beep and wont boot up

that means you have a hardware failure, if it continuously beeps that means the gfx card ( video card) is not being recognized by the motherboard, but also it could be your ram. And Did you overclock your pc? If so, you failed at the over clock and you need to reset bios to defaults by taking out the lithium battery while its disconected from power. Let pc site for 20 min with no power and battery, once 20 min pass put battery back in and power up pc. Still no boot and constant beep make sure all cards are fully seated ( video card, sound card ect. ) and make sure the power cables are fully inserted as well. hopefully no hardware has to be replaced
