Rake your leaves to the tree lawn in no time!

When I was growing up it was always a family activity in the fall raking up the leaves in the yard. Over the years I have seen my parents try a whole slew of techniques for getting those pesky leaves from the yard to the tree lawn.

The technique explained in this tip will only work if you live in a city that does leaf pick up using a vacuum truck to pick up the leaves. If you have to bag your leaves then this technique will not be helpful.

The one way that they found to be the most efficient although a little physically exerting involved a few rakes and a large tarp. If you have a large yard you will want to get a few helpers.

Start by picking a place to layout the tarp. When the location has been selected start raking the leaves away from this spot so that you have a clear space to layout the tarp.

Once the tarp has been laid out rake the leaves on to the tarp. You can lift the sides of the tarp to move them in to the middle so you will have space for the rest of the leave in the yard. Continue raking the leaves into smaller piles and then add them to the pile on the tarp until the yard is clear.

When all or most of the leaves have been moved from the grass to the tarp you are ready to move this mountain to the tree lawn. Gather up two of the corners of the tarp and carefully not to lift the corners too high so that the leaves don't fall off the other end. Drag the tarp from the back yard or front yard to the tree lawn.

Line the edge of the tarp up with the edge of the tree lawn and lift the far side of the tarp up towards the tree lawn. Lift it like you are going to flip the tarp onto the tree lawn. This will make the leaf mountain flip on to the tree lawn and walla! the leaves are ready to be picked up or played in by your kids!

Yellowing leaves on a sapling peach tree

That might be rust and it is usually a disease. Go to a local arborist or agriculture center and see what they have for it .

How do i fix yellow leaves on citris trees exc orange lemon, manerine

There are many things that can cause yellowing of leaves. Start with doing a soil PH test. If the soil is too acid or too alkaline, that can cause yellow leaves. Iron deficiency can also cause yellow leaves, as can other mineral issues. These are typically caused by soil ph problems.

Leaves falling off why?

Is tree 5-7 years old? Does the soil around the base rock when you push on trunk? If so strangulated roots and not correctable. Old tree? Could be water deficiency, nutrition deficiency, insects, fungus or a bacteria.
