Question about Epson Office Equipment & Supplies
When the ink cartridges park there is an absorbent pad that catches ink when the printer is in the cleaning mode. Put the printer on the clean mode and when the cartridges move off the park position, unplug the printer (do not turn the printer off with the power switch). Now you have access to the pad. It's full of ink, so be careful of the mess it's going to make. I use a toothpick or a straightened out paper clip to stab the pad to get it out of the printer. Once out, just wash the excess ink out then put the pad back. IMPORTANT: push the cartridges back to the right or the park position before plugging in the printer.
