SOURCE: bosch psb 600 drill will not reverse

The red button sits on a lever that changes the polarity of the switch output. If this lever feels loose and you can't feel it engaging anything then you need to split the housing and make sure it is seated properly. If it is, and the lever on the switch is moving fine aswell then you should check all the wires coming out of the switch, and if they are all connected properly you will prob need a new switch.

I have a mastercraft industrial reversible drill. Model number 1540. Looking for a replacement handle with the power trigger and reverse switch. Anyone know where I can get replacement parts?

this picture of the drill is familiar or similar to a "skill" made drill
talk with a service agent for skill, B&D woulf machines and you may get a cross match or even a handle from a failed drill

The chuck on my 18volt drill will not hold a drill bit long enough to drill one hole. i have 3 of these drills they all do the same thing

Hi. I'm guessing it is a keyless chuck. I always have to use two hands to tighten mine. Is drill running forward and not in reverse?

How do you remove the chuck on a 18volt Dewalt drill.

the chuck is held to the drill by a small allen head screw that is down in the base of the chuck -- it is a reverse thread.
after the screw is removed - the chuck should pull off.

18volt cordless drill stopped working. Exchanged batteries but still will not turn on.

Howdy. that brand is notorious for poor quality manufacturing, and short life. If you have purchased it recently, I would recommend returning it and getting a slightly better brand. Here is the link to their warranty and rma pege if you want to have them repair it, though:

Not all Chinese products are equal. Some are really well made now..but, some aren't. :)
Just remembered that machine sometimes has a glitch in the forward/ reverse switch. flip it back and forth a few times and see if that makes a difference. Hope so.

Dewalt chuck removal

there is a screw inside the chuck inline with it, I believe it has a reverse thread so turn it counter clockwise to remove

When i drill with my 18volt cordless, and the bit catches it makes an awful grinding noise inside the drill, its not the adjustable clutch set low. its set on drill?

Your speed switch is between gears, pull the trigger lightly and slide the speed switch back and fourth until it is fully engaged. Also turn the clutch setting all the way down then all the way back to lock it is not uncommon for them to get dodgy.
