Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

How do I add my iPad to my Kindle account?

How to Install the Kindle App for iPad/iPhone The Kindle app can be used on any iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch with iOS 3.2 or greater installed. Installing the Kindle App Visit the App Store and download the Kindle app to start reading from your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch. To install the Kindle app: 1. Tap the App Store icon on the home screen of your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. You can also get the app through the iTunes Store. 2. Search for "Kindle" or find it in the alphabetical list of apps. 3. Follow the on-screen installation instructions. When installation is complete, tap the Kindle icon on your device to open the reading app. Registering the Kindle App To register your Kindle app, use your existing Amazon account e-mail address and password. If you live outside the United States and use the Kindle application, please see the Using the Kindle App if You Live Outside the United States Help page. Logging into your Amazon.com account through the Kindle app registers your device to your Amazon.com account. Once you sign in during registration, you won't need to do it again -- just open the app to access your Kindle Library. To register: 1. Tap the Kindle icon on your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch to open the reading app. 2. Enter your Amazon.com account e-mail address and password. 3. Tap the "Register" button. You can also tap the Settings icon (the cog) on the Kindle Home screen to view or change your account registration. Signing Out and Deregistering If you sign out of the Kindle app, your reading app is deregistered from your Amazon.com account. When you deregister, you can't download content to the Kindle app or send purchases to the app unless you register again. To deregister using the Kindle app: 1. Tap the Kindle icon on your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. 2. Tap the Settings icon in the lower right-hand corner of the screen. 3. Tap "Update" under the Registration field and then tap the Deregister button. To deregister online: 1. Visit Manage Your Kindle on Amazon.com. 2. Open the Manage Your Devices section and locate your registered Kindle app. 3. I have a loaned book but am unable to see it on my Kindle list. I have accepted the loaned book but cannot see it on my list

Borrow from a Friend You can borrow a Kindle book from a friend. When the book is available, you will receive an e-mail notification that will allow you to download the book to your Fire tablet, Kindle device, or Kindle reading app.

To download your borrowed book:
  1. Open the e-mail message "A Loaned Book for You."
  2. Click the Get your loaned book now button. Your web browser will automatically launch to Amazon so you can accept the loan.
  3. Sign in to your Amazon account.
    • If you have a Fire tablet, Kindle device, or Kindle reading app, select which device you would like the book to be delivered to, and then click Accept loaned book.
    • If you do not have a Fire tablet, Kindle device, or Kindle reading app, click Accept loaned book and follow the on-screen instructions to download a free Kindle reading app.

The above is from the Amazon.com Help site:

Broken Screen on my Kindle fire hd

Working inside a tablet is NOT for the feinthearted or non-technician. Best bet is the tech support / RMA route. Most of the cost of the tablet is the screen, so this means $$$. Since Amazon actually sells their tablets below cost (they make all their money on customer downloads), you would be likely paying more than the trouble is worth for the parts and STILL not have a working tablet.

My Kindle Fire is losing 97% of charge after 1.5 hours reading. Help?

If it is a FIRE then it may have an app like MAIL running in the back ground. Turn off all apps. It's a tablet, it will only last a few hours.
The eReaders last for weeks, the Tablets last for hours.

If it's an eReader then on the home page search for jfhjfhj - if it says 4 books not indexed then you have 4 books corrupted, go DOWN and delete those 4 books from the kindle and redownload them.
