Only the numbers 5 and 6 work on my Brydge Keyboard. Top row also has keys that do not work

Sounds like something has been spilled in it, you can often unplug, disassemble and clean the keyboard parts to make them work. If that is too technical for you, purchasing a new one is the only answer I can give you.

Two must know usability tips for Mac Laptop users

Here are two general usability tips that every Mac laptop owner must know about. How to simulate a right click with your trackpad, and scrolling through documents much like a scrollwheel. I have long assumed these were common knowledge, but I’ve heard enough complaints and wishes and had to demonstrate them to enough people to prove otherwise. So if you don’t know about these two trackpad features, then you do now, and once you start using them, it’s impossible to go without.
  • Right Click with Trackpad - Hold two fingers on the trackpad while you use the click button
  • Scroll through pages a la Scroll Wheel with trackpad - Place two fingers on the trackpad and move them up to scroll up, and down to scroll down. Works horizontally as well.
If these features aren’t working for you, they are probably disabled. Here is how to activate them:

Note: Several of our readers have pointed out that these tips are not compatible with some older PowerBook and iBook models. However, a program called iScroll2 enables the scrolling ability on these models. Get iScroll2 here. Thanks to all who pointed this out!
To activate these options (assuming they are turned off), go to Apple menu -> System Preferences. Navigate to the ‘Keyboard & Mouse’ preference pane under Hardware. Click the Trackpad tab. Under Trackpad gestures, be sure that “Use two fingers to scroll” and ‘Place two fingers on trackpad and click button for secondary click’ are checked, as shown in the screenshot below. When I reply to an email with the keyboard on comcast, the email response slips to the bottom of screen so I cannot see what I am typing.

I don't believe this to be a problem with the keyboard rather the website, if your keyboard has a trackpad/glidepath you can always disable it.

My curser jumps all around the screen when I am typing, how do I make it stop

hi...

thats normal on many laptops... even on my Dell and Lenovo...

the trick is to disable the Trackpad when typing...

1) Click Fn + F3 keys together to disable the trackpad and then type
2) Click Fn + F3 keys together to re enable the trackpad and then type
3) Buy an external Keyboard and Mouse (Wireless one) and use them (I do the same)
4) if you have trackpad drivers & application installed then adjust the sensitivity of trackpad on it

Thanks,

did you change the logic board by yourself?
I'm afraid that the trackpad-connector is not properly installed on the logicboard...
then it is not a software issue.. ibook trackpad AppleNova Forums
- but you can use separate mouse on USB:

The trackpad does not work anymore. How can I fix it?

You would need to take the phone apart and replace the trackpad. You can find a trackpad on ebay for about $12-15. If you are interested you can contact us and send it in for us to fix it. If you buy the trackpad yourself we would just charge you for labor, otherwise we would charge you for the trackpad + labor.

Scroll on mouse pad was working is not any more

Well it any of the following: cable inside the laptop has come loose from the trackpad, you (or someone else accidentally disabled the trackpad) or that the trackpad has gone bad. Try to hook up an external mouse (for the time being) to allow you to either change the mouse settings, or use your computer until you can get the trackpad replaced/repaired.
