Black flakes

Dose the whole cube have a black tint to it? or dose it have black flakes in it? If all the ice has a solid black tent to it then check your water filter most all filters has charcoal in them when you change one out and apply water to them you need to dump the ice until you get clear ice. Now if it is just black flakes in ice than you need to clean the ice machine with scotsman cleaner nickle safe and scotsman sanitizer follow manufacturers instructions.

Black ice

My advice throw the dirty ice away then monitor. It could be residue from old filter or even new. This happens sometimes and usually clears it self.

PSS26SGRB ice dispenser and controls not working

Check that all your plugs that fit on the replacement board are snug. If that does not help I would send the board back to the dealer. I really don't think it would be a good idea to wait about a return because it may be a defective board they sent you. I will place the service manual HERE If you would like to test the new board for low voltage test points to see if the external temperature controls are getting power click HERE I will be here when you are ready so please ask questions Thanks John Tripp

Check to see if the compressor is running. If it is not running take note if the fan beside it is running. If it is the main board is most likely bad. Remove the main board and check for burnt solder joints. If you are familiar with soldering you can fix any bad solder joints and your refrigerator may go back to work. This page will help

Power is on but nothing is working, not cold ,no water, no ice

Sounds like the unit needs a reset of sorts, Get your food into another refrigerator or ice chests and unplug the unit. let it stand open for several hours (just in case the vents are iced) and then plug it back in.
