Swipe the top of your Kindle Fire. Hit the more button at the top right of your screen. Go to My Account and tap the arrow and it will take you to who it is registered to. Then hit the Deregister button. This should take the previous owners registration out.

If it's still registered to the previous owner, call the police and ask if that serial number machine was reported stolen! I hope you have a RECEIPT from the pawn shop!

Bought kids kindle fire. Initially came up with kids apps but now it shows up as our fourth kindle with our apps. Kids apps disappeared. Help please

Maybe you used your email address to register the Fire, if you did it will show your apps. De-register it and set the kids up their own account or an account in the spouses name and just put on the kids apps.

Cant register it how to do ?

To buy and deliver Kindle content, register your Kindle Fire to an Amazon account. Registering also allows you to transfer purchases between devices and Kindle reading apps. To register your Kindle Fire: From Home, swipe down from the top of the screen, and then tap More. http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=201729910

Bought used kindle and can't register it

There is a way to reset to factory default,
you can do a youtube search or Google.com

At the Pawn brokers that I know and work for
They do Not take Kindle fires Anymore, because of registration problems, the Best thing to do is take it to an authorized Kindle dealer, hope this helps?

I bought a new kindle and have a question

You would need to deregister the device from the new email address/account and register it to your old address/account, the one that has the rest of your books.

Once registered to your previous account you will be able to take advantage of the Kindle Owner's Lending Library feature.
Here's more information on it: http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=200757120

Once you've registered your Kindle to your own Amazon account you may still be able to access any books on your previous account if you can take advantage of the Family Library option. Information here:

My nephew got a new digiland tablet for Christmas it came locked, how do i unlock it.

I bought a Kindle Fire from a pawn shop. I called Kindle and they walked me through the steps to register and when it wouldn't register, he checked the serial# turns out it had been stolen and the person had it locked so no-one could ever use it. It had not been reported stolen to police, just locked through Kindle. Oh yeah, point being, call the manufacturer tho get it unlocked

    Wont register

Guessing you can connect to wifi

If you bought it on your Amazon account it is already registered.

If you are registering for the first time then you just use your normal email and password you use for Amazon every day.

If you have bought a second hand Kindle then the previous owner needs to de-register it. If they have not done it then you may need to log into the amazon site on your pc, call their help desk and give them the FIre serial number. They should be able to force a re-set assuming it has not been lost/stolen, in which case they may have locked it and you have a paperweight :(
