sounds like a protection function that this unit has i would seek a service person for this problem, i think it can be fixed easy and worse case you may need to replace the compressor and that you can pick up new for $90

Bosch fridge freezer: Oil substance- like corn oil/ olive oil - puddle of this appearing on floor under freezer section. cannot find any source for this. Is it likely to be a leak from the black tank unit...

The oil like substance could be coolant, but it could be something else. If the compressor has developed a leak you won't have that long before it goes, and you will notice the compressor getting hotter and hotter before it just totally locks up.
BUT are you sure that the oil like substance is coming from the compressor and not the coolant line? If it is the coolant line that can be repaired and the unit charged with coolant as long as the compressor hasn't locked up due to low coolant. SO I would attempt to localize the leak the best you can.

Hi my Bosch Logixx fridge keeps switching off and now the temperature light is flashing

Chances are the electronic board has something to do with its erratic operation. As you know it control the operation of the refrigerator including temperature control, defrost timer, etc.But before replacing that, have the compressor, relay, overload protection be check. That is located at the back of the refrigerator.
Good luck!

Bosch kur15444gb not cooling, light on and slight humming but thats it?

Sorry but our shop doesn't have your Bosch Kur1544gv listed, so I can't give you a specific answer, as in the part numbers of the faulty components. But I will try to answer your question. It sounds like your compressor is not kicking on which could mean a bad compressor (which would be cheaper to replace the unit than to fix) or the start relay and capacitor.

I would suspect the relay and capacitor and they aren't that expensive and easy to replace.

Bosch Fridge Freezer Model kan60a45g - Water Dispenser is not working, only a tiny dribble!! I've proven water flow to the egress / exit of the water tank... I have a Bosch American Style Fridge Freezer Model kan60a45g. The water flow out of the built in dispenser has gone from perfectly fine to a tiny dribble, it was gradual and I assumed it was the filter needing to be replaced. However replacing the filter seemed to make it worse, so I replaced filter with the plug in order to remove it from the equation. It still didn't work, so I went to the beginning of the flow and confirmed the pressure / flow into the "in pipe" was fine. I then checked flow to and from the filter unit, again fine. Down now to the inlet valve (I think it is called) and I checked all the valves worked here when required - they do. Next I checked the flow at the point of entering the water tank which sits in the fridge. It seems fine. I removed and flushed the tank and confirmed there are no problems with its flow when refitted. So sadly it seems the problem is somewhere between the exit of the water tank and the outlet in the freezer door itself. Everything else is checked out. I cannot see how the pipework runs from the fridge side into the freezer section and then up through the hinge of the freezer door. Does anyone have any suggestions? Ideally I suppose I would remove and replace the pipe - it has to be blocked somewhere I guess? Could I blast with compressed air? If anyone has experience of this issue, or knowledge of how to remove this last bit of pipe work then I would be very grateful. Thanks in advance!
