Sounds like you have a bad safety switch somewhere, possibly the seat switch.

Hi There The cutting deck is not cutting properly, is worn out and needs replaced

Have you sharpened the blades? They must be sharpened regularly.
Also, the deck should be level left to right and be slightly lower in the front of the mower.
Ensure that the blade is installed with the sharp edge closer to the ground when installed on the mower.

42 inch jd la115, hit stump in yard, changed blade cause I thought I bent the baldes still cuts uneven. Could the shaft be bent or broken? It appears to be cutting properly on the right side but the left...

try pushing the blade up into the deck,,,if there is any lift in it there is the fault,,the top nut has come off the blabe drive pully and let the drive shaft drop a little this will lower the cutting blade,,,fix it before the blade falls right out

Uneven blades

you mave have to put some shims or some sort of spacr under the one that is up higher to bring is level with the lower one
