SOURCE: Shreeder Feeder jammed , appears cleared, makes a humming noise when attempting to feed paper and a similar noise when hitting the reverse button. Help please. Thank you.

It could be one of two problems and they are both usually caused by over feeding. Either the tooth rollers have junped out of their sockets or they are jammed tight with paper which would cause the first to happen also. There are safety switches but unplug the unit any way. Get on the output side of the shreeder and start pulling paper or remove the metal object that was dropped into its throat. Hopefully, you won't have to take it apart to put the rollers back into their sockets.

If the fan is noisy and the laptop is running hot, then most likely the fan is faulty and spinning slowly. Therefore the fan is not providing sufficent air flow to cool the laptop's CPU. The fan needs to be replaced and possibly the heatsink assembly needs cleaned to remove dust buildup.

My 2011 tahoe has terrible static. It is only the radio, I have no problems with clarity if I use a cd, ipod, phone or my xm satellite stations. It is the stock radio that cane in the truck.

Get an inline suppressor which will cut down the static interference from the trucks ht leads and wiring.i believe it fits onto the negative lead of the radio assuming your truck is negatives earth.available at small cost from most auto shops.

VW A3 Viewer Request Reverse Light Switch Location A3

You can use the BACK UP SWITCH AS A POWER SOURCE. Locate the back up switch on the tranny. Tap into the wire that becomes "hot" when the tranny is in reverse. Use a multi tester Positive lead in the switch socket, negative lead to ground. The wire you want is the one that has voltage in it when tranny is in reverse, ignition switch has to be on, but DO NOT start car. Use a tap connector and run wire to camera power. Make a ground from camera to any point on the frame of the console. Put a fuse in line in the positive power wire to the camera power input. When you put the car in revese, the camera will come on.

My 1994 buick some time dosent start i have to mess with the battery cable for it to start alsothe light and radio come on it just dosent want to start

You're not really giving much to go on. However: Messing with the battery cable...Positive or Negative? It should be a side post battery. The battery terminal may be bad. They occasionally have a tendency to corrode inside leading to a poor connection. You may be able to just replace the terminal end for about $5. Check the terminal bolt to ensure it hasn't become loose or stripped due to over tightening or a faulty connection causing the battery itself (terminal receiver) to become faulty. Then you'll have replace the battery. Check the cable ends next to the battery to see if they appear to be soft. That would indicate corrosion inside of the cable and a new terminal will repair it. If you're messing with the cables that lead to the starter end, then the solenoid may have a bad connection on the starter. Even though the radio and accessories may work it takes a substantial more amount of current to start the vehicle. At a guess: I'd say it's the terminal end or the battery (terminal receiver in it). I really hope I've helped. If so, please rate my assistance and leave a comment. Thanks for using Fixya.

We use a Welch Allyn ECG machine at our office, and our numerous occassions lately it is saying the the limbs leads are reversed (avR is showing up positive and aVL is showing up negative). How do I fix...

You have wrongly connected the limb leads. Limb leads are those leads which we connect in the arms and legs.
In your case the leads in the arm have been interchanged. Thats why you get the message and prints inverted avR and avR.
check the leads and properly place it.

Artia 6100 machine showing err out of paper.

ur machines paper sensing sensor have some problem. did u used the paper with black mark on the side.
remove the paper cover . u can see a black square sensor near the side of thermal printer. clean the sensor with an ear bud. do not use any solutions. then check again.
remember use good quality paper. if the black mark on the side of the paper is not perfect this problem can occur (black mark on the paper is for page count and paper sensing)

Denon avr-3200

Check a few things first to narrow this down a bit. Disable the surround processing. If this clears up that channel, then the problem is in the processing area. If the static remains, vary the volume. Does the static change volume too? If so, then the problem is in the beginning stages of the pre-amp section and is likely a transistor or two breaking down. The parts for this would be in the $5 range. This would probably be considered a "major' repair becaue of the time required to hunt down the defective part.

I have a buzz / static that appears for the first 15 minutes.

I just opened up an AVR3300..It's trouble is that it goes into stndby
at once.
The BIG power supply caps are VERY swelled at the top.

That would be my informed view on why it's bad.

I suggest you look at that being your possible trouble too.

Denon AVR-887 turns itself off in 5 secs, any one know why?

You might have the polarities on the speakers crossed, check all speaker connections to make sure the pos and neg are connected correctly. If they are crossed, this will cause the receiver to short out, thanks
