How do I get students to want to enjoy standardized tests?

The psycology behind this is easy, if you are good at something you will enjoy it.
I think to enjoy a test, you must feel that this is something you master. Easy enaugh to feel satisfied about your result, but at the same time challenging enaugh to feel that its interesting.
The problem are if the tests are not adapted to the level of the student in qustion. If the students feel incapable, he will not enjoy the test because they know there will be no reward when the results come. If the test is adapted so that the students feel comfortable with the level, and they get a good score they will feel good.
So the short answer is, either you must adapt the test to the students level, or you must improve the education so that the student level is raised to the level of the tests.

I would like a battery operated hand held calculator to use in Oregon state testing at the elementary level. Our students take the test on computers so we turn out the lights so the screens are bright and...

I am not sure that you can find good battery operated calculators at this price range. However is as you say the testing is at the elementary level, maybe some cheap calculators found at dollar stores will do the job.
Cheap calculators are often used as promotional items.

Since testing is done on computers what not let the students/applicants use the calculator application that is found the computers. I do not know about Apple products but PC computers have a calculator usually found under Accessories (in Windows XP). If you find a way to dock the calculator application on the screen or show the students how to raise tha calculator window quickly, you will not need to buy additional calculators.

I want 2nd puc study materials

We believe that any study material for pre university students, where a majority of students opt for science should carter to the needs of students of both formal and informal educational systems. Though number of students join coaching classes paying hefty sum around 20k to 25k yet they fail to get a satisfactory results, reason behind this is many students are unaware of basic,n they need extra attention n effort in class which isn\'t possible in a coaching class stuffed with 80 students in a batch. for example, most students studying in puc are unaware of basic school mathematics such as BOMAS rule,as well a pu class contains both sslc and cbse students, for cbse students trigonometry isn\'t new bt its nt the case with sslc studnets. hence this material is designed as a self tutorial looking at d needs of diffrent students. This material is a tutorial in itself which is designed such a way that students of any level can understand it clearly. This material contains numerous problems solved in a step wise manner, and papers previous exams including apirl 2009 solved n very helpful to face competitive exams like CET. for more details call 9620241821. Material for other subjects also available. price.650 per subject. mail to:
