This could be due to one of the three filters that are easy to change - download the free pdf service manual - not the user manual - it is very descriptive and the filter is about $120 from Sanyo.

Sanyo flat screen tv about 2 yrs old has thin colored horizontal lines down the right side
Nothing you can do about that...get used to it or change the TV.
It's a defect in the panel that can't be reliably fixed.

My sanyo tv screen keeps disappearing with green lines on thris
Green retrace lines could me two things, the green gun in the CRT is shorting out and that is the picture tube, and it is not worth fixing. Another thing that it could be is a bad neck board and the green driver transistor is shorting, but that would be green all the time, I would say it is the picture tube, and buy a new TV.

Thin vertical red & green lines in upper right of 42 in sanyo lcd
More than likely your control board. Available at www.partstore.com Cost could be between $130 and $200. Not that complicated to install if you can use a screwdriver and are careful. Let me know how this works out.

I am trying to hook up my dvd player to my sanyo tv
I have red, blue and green cables when I hook them up to the back to the Sanjo TV I can't get the Audio to work. She has basic cable with no cable box just a converter box that give her reception. Should I put the blue and red cable on Pr and Pb and take the green cable and put it into the video out?

No Red Color
Just 'cos one Sanyo has started to act funny does not mean all Sanyo TVs are bad. As for the defective Sanyo TV, it seems that there is some problem with the Red Output circuits. Get a professional Technician to have a look. Nothing much you can do unless you know Solid State electronics.
