Hi,
You are facing a generic problem which is of all in the digital cameras, actually the zoom motor start malfunction due to dust/dirt or any kind of ****.In this case if the component level repair is available in your area then the zoom motor needs replacement and if the service on component level is not available in your area then you have to replace complete lens assembly, and your camera work fine again.
Thanks for using fixya.

The camera falls down then when im about to boot it up the camera lens didnt extends and then shutting down and said "lens error"

the camera must have fallen on the lens jamming the motor that drives the lens, you will need to visit the local service center to get the problem sorted out

My l100 samsung camera beeps three times when i push the power button and then wont come on? I tried to take the battery out and put it back in but that didnt help. i also took out the memory card but that...

Lens motor stalled.
Checkout the price of a repair at Samsung suppor.

Had this happen with the lens stuck in the retracted position. Rapped the camera on my palm to jostle the lens a bit, turned it on and back to normal.

IR-300 Olympus

I had what sounds like the same problem. The camera was dropped and the shutter was stuck open. Just kept showing error message.
As I felt I had nothing to lose I began tapping it on a soft book and the shutter started to appear. I then shut it just using the end of my finger. When I then turned the camera on again it opened and shut when turned off. It has worked fine ever since.
Seems a rather poor design.
Hope this helps. Very best regards Peat.

Powers up and then shuts off

This should work for the A520. With NEW or freshly recharged batteries, remove the camera's memory card, then turn on the camera. You'll probably see an E30 error. Next turn off the camera. Next insert the memory card, and turn on the camera.

If the above doesn't work, the following blog outlines some other repair options for a lens error. They won't work for all cases, but they're worth a try if the camera's no longer under warranty:
