Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

There's a couple of things you can do:

Press the F2 key to enter the BOIS setup and reset those defaults

Use the driver disc. It writes a complete image on the hard drive with all the drivers.

SOURCE: I have a Toshiba Satellite M115. I'm trying to do a sys. restore

Hi Imotivate!

By far the easiest, and most probably the best option for the long run is to ask Toshiba for a replacement recovery cd. It will most likely cost you, but it's worth a shot. Finding an authorised Toshiba dealer can be found by using their helpful website tool found here :

Hopefully this will point you in the right direction to get a replacement sent out to you!

SOURCE: restore factory settings

Follow this link here.
Look in section 3-9 , it will walk you through the process.
If you dont have the recovery partition and you havent already created a recovery disk you will need to contact Toshiba to get them.
Make sure you back up ALL your data before doing this as it will be overwritten.

If my answer has helped you today please offer four thumbs up as thanks!

Take account of any files or programs you still want to use after the Toshiba laptop is restored back to its factory settings. Transfer the files to a backup location, such as a USB flash drive or external hard drive.

Restart the Toshiba Satellite laptop's operating system. Wait for the Toshiba logo to appear on the screen.

Press the key that brings up the hard drive disk utility menu. Depending on the specific model of your Toshiba Satellite laptop, the key will either be "0," "F1," or "F8."

Press "1" or click "Restore Original Factory Image." Click "Yes." Select "Next" to begin the restoration process.

Restart the Toshiba laptop computer when the restoration process finishes running. Follow the prompts that appear on the screen to set up the laptop's date, time and language settings.

Transfer the backup copies of the data you saved earlier back to the Toshiba's hard drive. Re-install any programs you need, such as your software firewall or anti-virus tool.

If my answer has helped you today please offer four thumbs up as thanks!

How to reset satellite pro C650

The computer might have what's called a "recovery partition" which is a hidden portion of your hard drive specifically made for restoring the computer to factory settings. To access it, shut down the computer completely. Then press the power button and press the F8 button until a black screen with white text appears and the first option will say "Repair your computer" press enter and follow the on screen instructions. These are just generic instructions, though, for more specific instructions, you can check this webpage out.

How do i factory reset my C55D-A5120 Toshiba laptop without a recovery disc?

If a machine isn't infected with a virus, the easiest way to "factory reset" is to create a new administrator account, and delete the old account, along with all its files. You can do this by going into Control Panel and then users. In Windows 8, swipe (or move the cursor to the bottom right corner), click on Settings, then Control Panel.
