Hi we had the same problem have you tried going into home menu/ initial setup/go down to playback/find BDMV/BDAV playback priority and make sure BDMV is highlighted and all should be OK.

Hope this helps if not could be a drive failure but try this first.

How long is my Trio supposed to play? I'm only getting 4 hours on a full charge.

As per the company specifications it should provide up to 8 Hours of Continuous Playback. I'd suggest that you set the light out time at 10 seconds keep power saving mode and reduce the brightness. Also dont play at full volume.

This will help you to increase the playback time. Though not up to 8 hours. Make sure not to overcharge the battery.

Also the video playback time is 3-4 hours. As you have not specified whether you are reffering to audio or video playback time, so I am assuming its audio playback time. If its video or mixed then your player is ok..

Hope this helps..

Record 8 seconds and stop, same problem when playback, rew or FF.

There is a reel sensor - the spindle of the cassette- fitted beneath with is normally an opto-coupler or a magnetic sensor. when the reel moves it produces pulses that is needed to keep the processor asking the motor to work. A failure of the reel will stop the motor as no pulse is generated.
You need good experience to remove open and check to confirm.

How to enable WMA playback

So you are having with the WMA Playback? (wireless network coverage may needed if you would to activate WMA Playback.):

Try this (for those that didn't have any wireless coverage and M33 CFW installed.):
1. Hold down the power off for 10 seconds.
2. Click [R] trigger at the right shoulder.
3. Keep it pressed, and turn on your PSP while you press it.
4. Go to registry hack>Enable WMA Playback.
5. Exit

Try this (for those that have wireless coverage and OE FW installed.):
1. Go to Settings>System Settings>Enable WMA Playback.
2. And you're successfully enabled your WMA Playback.

Any questions? Feel free to ask me =]

No LCD view

Can you play back ok ? ( i.e. no distortion in playback mode ) if you can but have no image in capture mode then your camera's CCD sensor is faulty and must be replaced. If camera is not more then 2 years old, you should try to have it done free of charge since the sensor should last 10 years +.

Wont playback videos taken

Some common faults with most camcorders and video playback units:
Dirty heads
Failure in the head assembly
Failure in the head pre-amp section
Failure in the main video processing section
Internal system timing fault
Servo lock fault condition
uPC is hung in its operation and requires a re-set

The unit should be properly checked at a service center to determine the exact cause of failure.
