I'm not seeing your carrier tstat, is that the model number?

Testimonial: "The carrier termostat is a 40SMC028N. I looked power directly from the board to feed the new tstat (MCO MH-8) L and N connectors. Then I disconnected the fan connector from the mainboard (INDOOR FAN - 3 cables) and connected it to the MCO HI,ME and LO connectors. I can hear the fans starting when I order it from the new tstat. I hope I'm doing everything well up to these point. Now I need to connect the Valve ON / OFF connectors from the new stat to the carrier and I don't know where to get the signal out on the carrier board (maybe from the CDU connection).Any suggestion??"

I'm taking the signal from the internal board off and connecting the new stat directly to the indoor/outdoor units interconnections.

I have the carrier infiniti system. When my thermostat reaches the set temperature it doesn't always shut off. I shut off the main control to let it reset. It works for a while and then it starts

Carrier Infinity system is a variable speed unit that will just slow down as it approaches set point. Unless it overshoots the set temperature (you have it set on 72 and the temperature keeps rising above 72) this just sounds like normal operation.

Need to know wiring diagram for IMIT TR2 9325 thermostat

The three connections are labled (C),(1),and (2). (C) is common (useually the white wire). (1) is hot power into the thermostat (black wire). (2) is ran to your heater. So when the thermostat is turned on it will connect (1) and (2) until it reaches tempature. Hope this helps.

My Carrier thermostat keeps running my heater. I adjusted the temp lower but it didn't stop running. I changed the mode to off and then it stopped. However, the mode button was insensitive and I had to...

sounds like that thermostat has reached the end of the road. My advice is to replace the thermostat because its 6yrs old and is worn out due to continued use. programmable t-stats have a wide price range to meet your needs. and the batteries in a thermostat are only for back-up power because the thermostat runs off of a 24volt power supply from the air handler.

1992 mazda mx3 heater blows warm, not hot

If it ran out of water and you filled it up just before the problem started then their may be air in the system so will need bleading. If that's not the problem then could be a sticking thermostat. Vheck these first and let me know if you need further help I can advise further. Cheer's

Electric immersion heater keeps cutting out

Sounds to me like you have a bad thermostat. You should be able to give a model number to any local plumbing supply place and get one for replacement. make sure power is of the unit before replaceing.
