Tip

PLAY HD CONTENT IN YOUR LOW PROCESSOR SPEED PC TOO.

Playing HD content in your pc which got low processing speed with lots of lagging and poor synchronization of audio and video, has become a great issue. Here is the solution for that problem.

Step 1 : Download Media Player Classic - Home Cinema from : http://mpc-hc.sourceforge.net/.

Step 2 : Download Core AVC Video Decoder from http://hotfile.com/dl/47202507/bb451dd/CoreAVC_H264_Video_Codec_Pro_v2.0.0.rar.html
Or
http://rapidshare.com/files/396874926/CoreAVC_H264_Video_Codec_Pro_v2.0.0.rar

Step 3 : Install Media Player Classic Home Cinema. And now install CoreAVC Video decoder.

Step 4 : Open Media Player Classic Home Cinema. And click VIEW->OPTION.

Step 5 : OPTION windows appears. Select "External Filters " and click "Add Filter" and then select "CoreAVC Video Decoder" from the list and click OK.

Step 6 : In that same "External Filters" window choose "prefer" radio button visible under " add filter" button. Click OK.

Step 7 : You are DONE. Now your Laptop/PC will play HD content easily. Sometimes this Decoder is supported by Windows Media Player and it will also play the HD content easily after you follow the above steps properly.

Note : In some cases, when you install the Core AVC Video Decoder, even Windows Media Player and other media player make use of it and you can run any kind of video files, even you can run FULL HD Videos in Windows Media Player Itself.

The Media Player Home Classic is preferred because, it buffers the whole video first (very fastly) and then it plays. Hence there is no lag in playing Videos.

Thank You.

How to reset explora remote

To set the remote to mode 3: press and hold both the i and BACK buttons for 3 seconds or until you see the green light blink on 1 and 2 (below the i and BACK buttons). The DStv Explora must be set up to "listen" for the correct mode. You can do this in DStv Central. Press the DStv button

How do I watch movies off hard drive on my Sony kdl32v4000

The problem is the multitude of methods of encoding video.

Most graphic images are in .png, .jpg (or similar) so TVs will decode those types from cameras with little difficulty.

A hardware based A/V decoder ($$$) for each video and audio type or software and a CPU $$$ would be needed for the TV - thus driving the cost of the TV higher still. The best way to do it is with a HTPC or Home Theater PC (computer). This is just a PC with: 1) enough processor power to decode HD Video in real time (think: a 64 bit or dual core or better CPU), 2) an HDMI output jack, 3) wireless keyboard 4) wireless mouse, 5) USB port(s) and 6) network connection.

Connect the HDMI cable between your PC and the TV (or Stereo that sends video to the TV and plays audio thru your Dolby Digital sound system) and use it like a regular computer with a huge HD screen from your couch. You can quickly navigate Netflix and other online content including the internet without the need of seaching & scrolling around for letters one at a time via onscreen keyboard - just type away on your keyboard instead - FAST!

JVC Surround Sound System HDCP error message

HDCP...high definition copyright protection.

This means that one of two things have happened;

1) The connection method you used for video from the player to your monitor does not support the decoding of media that is copyright protected such as the Blu-ray format, or;

2) The media you are using is not a valid original recording.

As of yet, the only video connection available that supports the HDCP decoded signal is HDMI. Component video is capable of even greater resolution than HDMI but manufacturers haven't made a way of implementing it's use for copyright protected digital signals. However not ALL Blu-ray or HD-DVD media are copyright protected, that is completely dependent on individual title in which case a component video connection will work.

Hooking up DVC/VCR to HD cable box/TV

Hi Seve.
Not sure what is meant by 'HD cable box'.
If you mean a DSD (Digital Satellite Decoder), then the built-in firmware prevents recording (of composite video signal).
In our country the SP requires that you buy a dedicated 'Explora' decoder which allows recording.
HD cable technology may have introduced similar anti-piracy measures.
{reminder to me: Google "HD cable TV" :)
