If it have the Uninstall Updates enable, then probably you have auto update enable in the PlayStore. Make sure auto update is not enable at least for that app, then go back and uninstall update. If it doesn't work,and you still want to get that app to factory setting, then you need to hard reset your device.

Try rebooting the phone. If that fails you may need to have virgin re authorize the phone. It may even require factory reset. Make sure you back up any data...photos, contacts, etc. First.
