SOURCE: Updated to AVG9. Use firefox browser. Now can't access Yahoo e-ma

Good browser, good antivirus; Yahoo is kind of disgusting the way it dumps ads out all over, and AVG probably puts things in the way of those ads some day carrying malware in Firefox.  Since IE has a different callback API, it has to work from greater distance in that case.

I recommend using a POP3 proxy service or application to access Yahoo e-mail unless you love Yahoo's interface.  In the latter case, enter a trouble ticket at AVG's site and/or forum site, and a love letter to Yahoo Mail developers, and try IE and Chrome for now.

Can I replace windows 10 with windows 7

Never ever wipe your system. Anyone who tells you to format does not know anything about computers. Formatting is the last resort and in my years of experience never needs to be done to downgrade your operating system.

To access this, open the Start menu and select Settings. Click the "Update & security" icon and select "Recovery." You should see a "Go back to Windows 7" or "Go back to Windows 8.1" option. Click the Get started button to get rid of your Windows 10 install and restore your previous Windows install.

I need a fix for internet exployer

Microsoft's Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) browser includes "add-on" applications that can be downloaded and installed from Microsoft, or third-party providers, into Internet Explorer.

Occasionally, add-ons may conflict with other add-ons or software on the computer, causing errors.

These can also occur when IE settings conflict with newly installed add-ons.

Resolve add-on related error conditions quickly in IE8 by resetting Internet Explorer to Microsoft defaults.

Click the "Start" button. Click "Run" or "Search," and type "inetcpl.cpl in the "Run" or "Search" box, and press the "Enter" key.

Select the "Advanced" tab in the "Internet Options" window, then click the "Reset" button.

Click the "Reset" button again to confirm that you wish to reset Internet Explorer to Microsoft defaults.

Select the "Close" button, once the display indicates that the reset process has been completed.

Click the red "X" in the upper-right corner of Internet Explorer to close the browser.

Open Internet Explorer and the errors should be resolved.

also

Experience problems with Internet Explorer 7 right off the bat, and it may be due to installation problems.

Make sure you reboot twice after installing the new browser.

Download any updates for IE7.

Check the Microsoft website for recommended updates if you don't have automatic updates turned on for your computer.

Check your add-ons, those "extras" like ActiveX controls for your browser, if you still experience problems.

After accessing "manage add-ons" through the "Tools" menu in your browser window, disable all add-ons, and try browsing.

If you can successfully browse without errors on the page, then one of your add-ons may be the culprit. Enable add-ons one at a time and try browsing.

Once you find the problem, delete it or update the add-on to work with Internet Explorer 7.

Contact Microsoft if a website denies permission for entering when it shouldn't.

It could be a problem with document. domain property or the protocols of the URLs not matching.

Update and run the most recent version of JavaScript. JavaScript is a scripting language used on many websites.

Adjust security settings in the browser if you still experience page error messages.

Select the "Tools" menu and access "Internet Options." Under the "Security" tab, choose "Custom Level" to pull up the security settings window and review for possible problems.

Hope this helps

Every time i go onto the zoosk web site it keeps telling me to upgrade my browser which i dont understand & cant seem to get rid of

Most modern web sites require a newer version of a "web browser" in order to ensure that all of the features of the web site work correctly. You are probably using an old version of "Internet Explorer" which is the web browser built in to Windows.
If you are using Microsoft Windows XP or newer, you should visit: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/internet-explorer/downloads/ie-8 and download an install Internet Explorer 8.
If you have an older version of Windows, the alternate "Firefox" browser can get downloaded from http://getfirefox.com. When you install that, click on the "Firefox" icon to access web sites like Zoosk that need a newer browser.
If you are running very old Windows system like Windows 98, you may not be able to get rid of the message and should consider getting a newer computer.

Ive gone onto youtube to listen to a song and there is no play button and i cant find one how do i get it to work

Hi Your Operating system (like Windows) or you browser (like Explorer) may be out of date.
If you are a Microsoft Windows User, click on the Windows Update link in the Program Files list.
This will take you to Microsoft Windows update. Download all Updates there. When done, restart your machine, and do the Windows Updates again. Repeat this until Microsoft Update says "There are no Critical Updates".
Alternately you can download and install a Browser like Mozilla Firefox. It is safer and more complete. It is available at www.downloads.com

If problem persists, then Better to re-install the windows and go to youtube and search for how to make WINDOWS 7 genuine. make your windows genuine and then go to microsft download centre page and download microsoft security essentials. update it and be protected from all viruses. for more protection, use internet explorer 8 and download BROWSER DEFENDER for it from microsoft download centre.

Won't access hotmail

As far as I know, hotmail no longer works on the PS3 browser ever since Microsoft updated the site to that "Live" jargon. It used to work, but once they updated it, it no longer works, we must wait for sony to update the browser with an update, similar to the flash player problem
