SOURCE: instructions for Proteam Ho 1940 bird sound wall clock

Take out all 3 batteries. Move the hands to 5:50. Put batteries back. Start turning the white dial to correct time. As you're turning, if the clock is silent after 9 o'clock, you are on PM. For am, continue turning white dial to 6 o'clock when the bird sounds will start again and then to the correct AM time.

My Audobon singing bird clock delivers the bird song if I push the button, but does not when it is hanging on the wall. It has a light sensor that "lets the birds sleep at night. I think the sensor is...

So, on a table it would work if you pushed the button. Hang it on the wall it wont. Are you covering a sensor? Maybe try putting it on the table and placing an object like a book behind it to simulate a wall. See if it still works when you push the button. If it doesn't work with this test you may be covering a sensor. If you have to re-route a light sensor it may be a weekend project.

No sound

I found mine was just making a clicking sound and no birds singing. changed batteries, all that synchronizing birds to time and nothing worked. Remove screws holding back on that are located around the ring area. carefully remove the glass, the hands, then the holding nut for the motor housing, remove face from clock assembly. There will be a wire going to the eye sensor for daylight/nighttime. Take a paperclip and jump the two solder points where the blue/black and yellow wire connect to the little circuit board (must have batteries in) and this resets the song feature. Not sure why this works, Simply reverse disassembly procedure making sure clock hands are unobstructed with each other and not bent, dont forget the seconds hand it's little and easy to forget to put back on.

Birds won't chirp on the hour on audobon society bird clock

If the clock is more than a few years old, it may be that the switch movement inside has gone out, or maybe the sound mechanism has gone out. You'd have to find a clock repair shop that would consider working on it. Search clock repair in your general area with whatever search engine you prefer.

Our bird clock has started running fast, gaining about 17 minutes each day. Any idea how to fix this?

No fix, other than replacing the time movement, which is a switch movement that can be purchased at several different clock part supply stores, catalogs, or websites.
