SOURCE: Coffee spills from the carafe no matter how

it is. all you can do is hold the spout close to the cup, lower the pouring angle, and it should be less spillage.

SOURCE: MR COFFEE FTX49. Brewing starts, then stops

Mine just started to do the exact same thing. So I decided to clean it using the "Clean" program and just water. I put the brewer through the cleaning program 3 times - each time it would brew water from 12 cups to 8 cups, I'd tap the brewer on the countertop, it would brew from 8 cups to 4 cups, tap it again, and it would brew the remaining cups. So, I called the Mr. Coffee help line (800-672-6333). The most-likely problem is that the hose is no longer attached in the water reservoir. The help line suggested that I take it in to a service center. I live in Urbana, IL and the closest service center is in Oak Lawn, IL - 2 hours away from me!!
Here is my solution:
1) Buy another coffee brewer.
or
2) Smash your current Mr. Coffee brewer into a million pieces (this relieves stress) and go buy another coffee brewer (probably stay away from Mr. Coffee products).
Hope this helps.

SOURCE: I have a jwx31 mr cofee. It was not getting water

Hello,

I came across your post, and thought I would help you out. I guess some other expert you talked to prior based on your post back to him didn't work or was not clear. I am not sure, because at my end, I can only see your response to him, but not what he told you. As far as i know the Ball, gets inserted right where the hose goes into the top part of machine, It is like a diaphragm. Its designed for one way via the pump. With out it, it gets air mixed in and it does not control even flow at pressure designed at so much psi. SO, its kind of like a diaphragm. and restricter all in one the hooks at end of tube or toward top of machine via water inlet. Now, before you panic, and say what am I talking about, I went ahead a located owners manual for this machine. Now this manual has all kinds of information and trouble shooting, but of course not say a thing about the ball. But what it does have is the phone number of Mr Coffee to call them direct toll free when there open, and I am sure they can explain it better to you, and maybe send you out a actual picture of it and where it hooks up, to see it better. Here is the Link to copy and paste in your browser. I tried calling them, but it is after hours , so maybe you can try in day time. I hope this helps, I did my best. Mike link is below

Why does my Mr. Coffee pot fill and overflow with more coffee than the 12 cups of water that was put I the reservoir?

Looks Mr Coffee has a matter generating hability., defying basic laws of the universe. Kind of a "Little Bang Theory". Seriously, no, it has no secret water compartment. Possibly some water remaining there from previous use.

Mr coffee model gbx23 stopped working, it won't turn on.

It might be a problem with your outlet, and not the coffee maker. Your kitchen outlets should be GFCI protected. There is supposed to be a sticker on all outlets that are protected by a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter, but sometimes they are left off. Look for an outlet in the kitchen that has a rest button between the outlets. You can also take the coffee maker to a known working outlet, or bring something that you know works to the coffee maker outlet, to see if it is the outlet that is not working or if the coffee maker is still not working at a good outlet. If the outlet isn't working, try others in the kitchen to see if they are. If they are not, and you didn't locate a reset button on one of them, then check the breaker box for a tripped breaker.

Coffee makers do have at least 2 safety switches inside them, but they are only to keep them from overheating and catching fire. If one of the switches did go bad it is possible that it might shut down the entire machine. If that is the case, then it's time for a new coffee maker, as the safety switches are not servicable.

Mr coffee cocomotion

not sure if yours is like mine, granted you had the question a year ago. But the middle piece that spins has a small ring and bearing on it. It is supposed to be flush with the base of the whole piece. My bearing just gave out. Maybe yours did too.

I have had my hamilton beach brew station for a year. The past 2 weeks, the water put in the bottom reservoir does not empty completely into the coffee reservoir. It leaves about 8 oz in the bottom water...

On your machine there is maybe inside water reservoir a hose or tube that goes down to bottom, or suppose to go down to bottom, to **** up all water. Look inside and see if hose is going all the way to bottom, maybe it got hung up or crooked. Please let me know, glad to help, thanks mike ( mr bean man )

Mr. Coffee 12 cup Isx43cp will not brew coffee. I push the brew now button and it beeps 5 times as if it has just finished a pot.

I had the same problem and fixed it. I took the bottom off. There is two hoses there which one has a (valve)plastic thing with little ball in it. I took the hoses off and the valve out of the hoses. I then cleaned the hoses, valve and the pipe arround the burner. There was like hard white dirt in them. I put back on the hoses without the valve. Tried to make coffee and it worked but was noisy . I ran it like that for a few days and still worked but noisy. I then took hose off and put back in valve. Then tried it again. It still worked but now it is quiet. Clean parts, hoses, valve, and pipe near burner good. Worked for me. Good Luck on yours.

Mr Coffee stopped brewing

Sounds like there are a couple of problems -

First, are you certain that the coffee basket is clean? If the coffee basket has a valve on the bottom that allows you to remove the carafe to pour a cup of coffee, make sure the valve is clean. Being dirty would cause it to trickle coffee slowly into the carafe, and will hold coffee in the basket too long.

2nd, you may need to flush the water heating system as they can become corroded with precipitated solids from the water.
To do this, mix 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water in the carafe. Pour into the coffee maker and tell it to make coffee. Do this a couple of times, using a fresh mix of vinegar and water each time. Pour the used mixture down the drain.
When you feel it is clean, follow it up with a fresh pot of water. Then wash and rinse the carafe.

The coffee maker is now ready for it's next use.

Coffee leaks from the bottom of the coffee maker

I just fixed my Mr. Coffee machine by removing the the 4 phillips screws in the bottom and re-attaching the red rubber hose to port it came off of. This is upsetting because if I knew this 2 months earlier - I would not replaced my old one with this one. These machines need a hose clamp to prevent this frequent failure. I will have some coffee now.
