Question about Candy Washing Machines

Open Question

Candy GO482 leaks water from bottom front left hand side.

I have checked all hoses are fitted correctly, cleaned and checked filter, no holes in doorseal, tightened door seal fastenings, no blockages in waste hose. Seems to just leak every time there is water in the drum. Does not flood upon filling only. Machine is 6 years old and has been well used carbon brushes replaced several times. Could the casing around drum have cracked causing the leak? Any ideas?

SOURCE: water leaking from bottom front panel

Plug off the wall. Open the back of the machine to take a good look at the tube coming out from the bottom of the tub, open the front door to see if the door washer is loose somewhere. You could even try to reach out thru the back to locate any loose rubber gasket, the door gasket that is...... Possible you could take out the top of the machine to see if any of the normal 3 tubes entering your dispenser has come loose.....

SOURCE: Clean water coming out of sides

Hoover SteamVac Ultra (model F5883-900) Threw it away, and had to buy a new machine. Sorry, but I found it more difficult to deal with the housing unit on the machine and just couldn't deal with it anymore. I hope you have better luck than I did with it. I couldn't find ANY help on ANY web sites for this model, just too old I guess.

SOURCE: Front loader washer leaks from bottom center of door osmetimes

Check inside the door on the bellows gasket to make sure the inlet area (normally at the 10 o'clock position) is properly positioned around the water inlet, sometimes these work themselves off the inlet nozzle and can casue a leak when the washer is filling up.

Also, carefully run your hand around the bellows gasket to see if you can find any small holes that cold be letting water leak out. You'll need a flashlight to make this easier. It is hardly ever the hinges that causes a leak since the hinges are mounted outside of the door seal gasket (bellows gasket) and aren't ever exposed to the water.

My 17kg whirlpool x-pert is not spin drying

Is it emptying the water quickly enough? A blockage, or partial blockage on drain will prevent the spin starting quickly, and you only have a limited time on spin before the program stops.
Carefully remove and clean any filters if fitted on the drain - you must do this and don't assume they are clear. If ok, check the connections at the waste hose on the sink or plumbing, and in the waste hosepipe. Can you hear the drain pump running on the drain only cycle? a glug glug glug noise.... if you cant hear the pump it may be seized or jammed with a coin or button or pin or bra wire or zip etc etc.
If no waste water is flowing, try lowering the waste pipe on to the floor completely flat - water should flow out under gravity. If it doesn't, there may be a blockage in the machine sump hose - a sock or pants, etc.
Check all the basics first - water fill, water drain, filter clear, drain water flowing etc.... if all ok, may be motor or control card.

What is the torque spec for the cam bearings on a 1998 dodge stratus with a 2.4 L?

Hi, the spec is 105 in. lbs. I have pasted the entire procedure below from autozone.com.
Thanks for using FixYa.

To install:
  1. Thoroughly clean the camshafts and related parts.
  2. The hydraulic valve lash adjusters are inside the roller camshaft followers. Make sure they are clean, well lubricated with clean engine oil and properly positioned. Install the camshaft followers in their original positions on the hydraulic adjuster and valve stem.
WARNING Make sure NONE of the pistons are at Top Dead Center (TDC) when installing the camshafts.
  1. Lubricate the camshaft bearing journals and camshaft followers with clean engine oil and install the camshafts. Install the right and left camshaft bearing caps No. 2 through No. 5 and right side No. 6. Tighten the M6 fasteners to 105 inch lbs. (12 Nm) in the correct sequence.

  1. Apply MoparĀ® Gasket Maker or equivalent sealer to the No. 1 and left side No. 6 bearing caps. Install the bearing caps and tighten the M8 fasteners to 250 inch lbs. (28 Nm). The end caps must be installed before the seals can be installed.
  2. Install the camshaft end seals.
  3. Reinstall the camshaft sprockets, if removed. Install the timing belt, taking care to make sure all timing marks are properly aligned, using the recommended procedure. Use care. DO NOT allow oil or solvents to contact the timing belt, as they can deteriorate the rubber and cause tooth skipping.
WARNING Verify that all timing marks are correct. If the timing belt or sprockets are incorrectly installed, engine damage will occur. Take time to make sure all timing marks are correctly aligned.
  1. Install the timing belt covers.
  2. Clean all valve cover sealing surfaces. Make certain the rails are flat.
  3. Install a new valve cover gasket. Apply Mopar Silicone Rubber Adhesive Sealant, or equivalent, at the camshaft cap corners and at the top edge of the 1 / 2 round seal.
Inspect the spark plug well seals for cracking and/or swelling, and replace if necessary.
  1. Install the valve cover assembly to the cylinder head and tighten the fasteners in sequence, using the following 3 steps:
    1. First: tighten all valve cover fasteners to 40 inch lbs. (4.5 Nm).
    2. Second: tighten all fasteners to 80 inch lbs. (9 Nm).
    3. Third: tighten all fasteners to 105 inch lbs. (12 Nm).

  2. Install the ignition coil pack and connect the spark plug wiring to the correct spark plugs. Tighten the coil pack retaining fasteners to 105 inch lbs. (12 Nm).
  3. Reconnect the engine ground strap.
  4. Check to be sure all vacuum lines and remaining wiring have been reconnected.
  5. An oil and filter change is recommended.
  6. Reconnect the negative battery cable and test run vehicle. Check for leaks and for proper operation.

My washing machine LG WD1238C keeps showing error message OE hose is not blocked or filter blocked does not finish any cycle or work correctly

This sounds like a blockage in the small hose connected to the waste pump. Take the lid off and find the waste pump down near the bottom of the machine below the drum, then remove any one of the hoses connected to the waste pump and check inside the pump to make sure the fan can spin using your fingures, maybe a small kids sock or similar jammed in there, if nothing in the pump check both pipes on the waste pump

How do i change the power window motor on the drivers door?

Aztek, Rendezvous 2001-2005 Window Systems - Power Windows Removal & Installation
  1. Position the window in the full down position.
  2. Remove the trim panel.
  3. Remove the water deflector.
  4. Remove the outer belt sealing strip.
  5. Remove the window weatherstrip.
  6. Loosen the bolts to the clevice clamps.
  7. Remove the window from the outside of the door.
To install:
  1. Position the window between the inner and the outer door panels.
  2. For front window, point the lower front corner of the window down and pass through the belt opening. For rear window, point the lower rear corner of the window down and pass through the belt opening.
  3. Align the edges with the window weatherstrip channel.
NOTE Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
  4. Turn the window to a horizontal position and align the window with the clevice clamps.
  5. Tighten the clevice clamps bolts to 97 inch lbs. (11 Nm).

  8. Install the water deflector.
  9. Install the inner trim panel.

Window Motor & Regulator

  1. Remove the door trim panel.
  2. Remove the water deflector.
  3. For rear window, remove the rear speaker.
  4. Disconnect the window from the regulator carrier plate.
  5. Position the window in the full up position and tape it to the window frame.
  6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the window regulator motor.
  7. Loosen the bolts on the window regulator motor.
  8. Loosen the bolts on the window regulator rail.
  9. Remove the window regulator, lifting up and out from the key slots on the door inner panel and through the access hole.
To install:
  1. Install the window regulator bolts half way into the window regulator motor and the rail.
  2. Position the window regulator rail through the access hole first.
  3. Position the window regulator motor through the access hole.
  4. Install the window regulator into the key slots. Attach the regulator to the motor and the rail. Secure the regulator with bolts and tighten the bolts to 97 inch lbs. (11Nm).
  5. Remove the tape and position the window to the regulator carrier plate.
  6. Connect the window to the regulator carrier plate.
  7. Connect the electrical connector to the window regulator motor.
  8. For rear window, install the rear speaker.

Bosch Axxis WFL 2060 washer leaks

Hi. Check the doorseal by lifting the folded lip which faces toward the drum opening. Use a torch and carefully examine the doorseal. It may have a small hole which is hard to see at first.
If door seal is ok remove top of machine and check inlet valve. Turn power off and with your hand examine the inlet water valve. If it feels damp on the solenoid then it leaks from there and finds its way around to the front of the machine though the frame work. This leak happens due to to much water pressure at your laundry taps. If so install a pressure reducing valve before the water inlet hose and replace the water inlet valve in the machine as it is now faulty.

Error code F05 indicates that the water level switch is stuck in the closed position, this is probablly due to a blocked filter or pump.
To gain access to the pump and filter, remove the lower rear panel of washer, locate and remove large black hose fastened to the bottom of tub.
Remove filter inside hose and clean, check inside pump for any blockage or restriction, and make sure the plastic chamber is clean where the small plastic hose is fastened to, as this goes up to the water level switch, and can sometimes get blocked.

Refit filter and hose, making sure it is securely on and fastened, and test, if fault still persists, then you will probably neeed to fit a new water level switch, or preesure switch as it is usually called.
Please rate my solution to your problem.
Thankyou.
