Hello, you can buy descaling tablets at your local Starbucks. There is also a liquid descaling solution (small bottles) you can buy anywhere.
At the moment I'm using Jura brand descaling tablets I purchased at Starbucks. For instructions on how to descale (quite simple really), see here on p-17 at:

Remove base plate and turn pulley clockwise (probably for several minutes) until infuser arm returns to vertical position and the infuser itself drops to the low position. You should here a click when it reaches this point. The infuser can then be removed as normal.

I had this problem too. The instruction manual says to turn the steam knob only half way counter-clockwise after pressing the button for 5 seconds, but you need to turn it ALL the way to have the procedure start (at least, that was the solution with my machine). Good luck!
