How does one start a payment gateway?


The global shift of business' focus to web markets has caused a consequential large-scale shift of payment modes. Today, it's possible to host a business in one corner of the globe and manage customers residing on the other side of the globe. However, every internet-based enterprise requires a reliable payment gateway to manage both online and offline payment processes including invoice generation, sending the invoice to customers and payment collection as well as payment reporting.

If you own an enterprise that intends to expand its market coverage to denser, far-flung locations or online markets, you will require a credible payment gateway to handle your payment collection process.

While the easiest and cheapest approach would be to seek the services of a white label payment gateway provider, this leaves you very limited room for customization as you are bound by their terms of service and features. The best approach is designing a personalized payment gateway.

I am trying to order a new book, but the Kindle says I need to update my payment information how do I do that

Manage Your Fire & Kindle Payment Settings
  1. Manage your content and Devices.
  2. From Settings, select Edit Payment Method below Digital Payment Settings.
  3. Select the desired credit card information, or add a new card, and then click Continue.
  4. Enter the desired billing address, and then click Continue. You will be taken back to theDigital Payment Settings page where you can view your edited 1-Click payment method.
Follow the link below labeled "Help Search Results". It will take you to Amazons help site and give you the same instructions as above but will ask you to log into your account so you can actually do the above process without have to search around for the correct links.

Posting progress payments


If you are paying your sales tax by invoice date - the payments will not affect your liablity. ie you owe the whole amount of sales tax as of the date of the invoice. If you are paying sales tax as of the time of payment. You will owe sales tax at the time you receive payment.
Since you are using progress invoicing, the sales tax would be come due at the time of the invoice. If you are just receiving payments, you would receive payments (as you would with any customer, and not invoice until time of completion. You would just need to make sure that your preference for sales tax due date is set to Invoice date, not time of payment.

At the end of each month, FixYa calculates your total Premium Assistance earnings for that month. If your earnings total $50 or more, FixYa will process them for payment. Monthly earnings of less than $50 remain in your account and are added into the following month's earnings.
FixYa sends your earnings to you via your preferred method of payment within 30 days of the end of the payment period. For example, if your account contains $60 in earnings on October 31st, your $60 payment will be issued via your preferred method of payment by November 30th.
We strongly recommend you choose paypal as your preferred payment method, as paypal payments are faster, easier and cheaper than checks by mail.

Statements in QuickBooks


If you do not want your statements to reflect any payments, go to the top of your tool bar, click on Edit, go down to "Preferences", find the "Sales and Customers", go to "Company Preferences", and at the bottom you have the option to "Automaticly apply Payments", make sure that is not checked.
