Open Question

I have a PIXMA MX922 all in one printer that displayss a support code of C000. A few months back it would print blank pages only.

Since then I have changed the ink cartridges to no avail. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers and software. Are you able to FIXYA for me. Best regards Darin Hughes

SOURCE: Cannot see ink levels

Inkjet printers do not detect ink levels period. An estimate of level is made by the software. It calculates the volume of ink that was dispensed during printing pixel by pixel. If you re-install the software the tally is lost. If you want to convince the software that the cartridges are full then go though the procedure of renewing the cartriges but put the old ones back in. If I were you, I'd completely ignore the displayed levels of ink, its worthless technocrap. Your eyes are the best judge of whether the cartridges need replacing or not when you look at your prints.

SOURCE: kodak 5100 will not print consistently

I am currently having the same problem with a 17" iMac Intel Core Duo.  The printer worked fine for a few months, now it will only print in black and white and sometimes in color that is extremely faded.  I have tried every troubleshooting tip in the book and still no luck.

I am working on the same problem. While you will not like the
answer here it is for the canon mf6530. What is causing it
is the shutter over the laser is failing to open. There for
it blocks all exposer. A temperary fix is to carefully lift the
shutter and tape it open using black electrical tape. Then
try a few prints you should have an image if this is your
issue as it is mine. I do not recommending running it in
this condition very long. When I find the final answer I
will attempt to post it.

YOU CAN TRY PULLING THE CARTRIDGE OUT AND WITH A CLEAN , VERY SOFT CLOTH , CLEAN THE HEAD GENTLY ....SOME CARTRIDGES ARE JUST FAULTY ....HAVE YOU TRIED RETURNING IT OR GOING TO CANON SITE AND TROUBLESHOOTING ?

SOURCE: Printer does not print using black ink

Check your settings i=under the Services Toolbox. Also go into printer preferences and see if you can force it to print in black only.

My MX922 printer worked well this morning. All cartridges have ink but ALL lights under the cartridges are on and print comes out blank. There are no error codes or anything abnormal displayed


This problem is mainly happens to all inkjet printers. If your printer print blank pages then please at least once go to official site of Canon and check whether there is any printer/scanner drivers update is available or not. If yes then download it. Also check your ink cartridges. Because if there is no print on paper that means your ink might be dry.Sometimes it clog the print head. If your ink cartridges get dry change it. Or you should clean your printer's print nozzle by using printer's control panel. I hope all these suggestions helps you. If doesn't then watch Canon MX922 Manual English

Try switching printer off then unplugging the power for 15 or so minutes. If that doesn't work and same error pops up when you turn printer back on, contact Canon.

How do I get a paper conformation for faxes on a cannon mx922


From page 98 of the fax users manual:
"This report is printed after each fax reception.
• At the time of purchase, the machine is set so that RX REPORT is not printed at all.
You can set the machine to print RX REPORT each time it receives a document, or only when an error occurs by selecting RX report in Auto print settings under FAX settings."

You should have the manual on the cd that came with the printer. If not try the link listed.

Canon PIXMA MX920 error code C000


After market units do not send the proper signal as factory cartridges so put the AfterMarket ReMan back in, Un-Plug the unit for 3 minutes . plug it back in and maybe the computer will accept the reman, just will not show "quantity".

How do you print just a selected part of a document with the canon pixma mx922? do not see a selection option, just pages


Just before you click the button to print, Select the text you wish to print by highlighting with your mouse. Then when you click the print option you have the option to print selected item.

Canon mx860 - had an error code C000 and now a day later 306A


Error code C000. Cancel printing, and turn off the machine. Then clear the paper jam or foreign object that is preventing the Print Head Holder from moving.
