There are two cable under the dash that lead to the flaps in the heater. One of these has slipped and needs resetting. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: ryobi gas chainsaw- chainsaw brake is stuck on. How do I release

You just have to pull the lever back, like it was on the saw, until it clicks/unlocks. It may be hard to do, but thats what has to be done.

SOURCE: the vac function stopped.

Somewhere in the tube or impellor area, it is plugged with a piece of debris that is clogging the flow of air to the bag or outlet.

SOURCE: Brand new electric mulching blower/vac : cut out after 10 secs.

Electric motors sometimes have circuit breakers to protect them from overload or overheating. Some reset automatically, some don't. But even if you found and reset a breaker, this shoudn't happen 10 seconds after starting a new unit, unless you sucked a branch into it during those 10 seconds! Take it back to the store for a replacement.

Pool vac keeps getting stuck in a corner and wont move the rest of the day

Pool vacs sometimes do that. I changed my pump to the next bigger pump because once you hook that vac to it, it reduces the flow rate. the lesser flow rate doesn't seem to be enough to move the vac around and gets stuck easily. Also when the vac starts getting full it reduces the flow rate and will get stuck. Good luck.

Heater wont blow heat blower runs but acts like heater box wont let heat come out heater core seems ok

I am a mechanic and auto-motive electrical systems technician, just a side note, currently while answering this question i am preparing to go complete a task of rewiring the entire electrical system in a Ford Sierra.

On this note i will ask are you only hearing the blower running or can you feel air coming out of the vents? If yes you may have one of the following problems as described below.

Some heaters are electric meaning they have a heating element just as what is found in domestic heaters while some others use the coolant from the radiator which carries the heat from the engine which flows through the core. In either case the blower blows air across/ through the core which in turn carries the heat to the cabin. In the case of an electric heater system check and see if you got any blown fuses, because most of the time the fuse for the heater is separate from the blower also check for any faulty relays.

In the case that your vehicle has the heater system that is operated by the heated coolant from the engine, you may have a clogged heater hose or heater core. The hose or core may become clogged as a result of debris, rust etc from the engine, heater core or radiator. In that case a system flush is required. To check for a clogged heater core, there at two hoses on the core, one is the inlet and the other is the outlet. Have the hose that is the outlet disconnected, then check and see if coolant flows out of that hose with a steady flow ( make sure to put a container to collect the coolant so it does spill on the ground, make note of the color and also look for debris/particles.

In a case where which ever of the system you have the heater is functioning, the next thing that can be the problem is a stuck shut blend door. The blend door acts just like a door would to close of the passage of air flow to the cabin. For further assistance please add your vehicle make and model.

How to repair Toro Super Blower no longer blowing, only vacs/intakes?

when you remove the vac part there should be another "grid type" part that snaps in place of the vac tube. This engages the safety switch and keeps your fingers out of the impeller.

96 explorer wont blow a/c out of bi level vents also only blows on high

There is a vac control for the blend door to direct air flow. You may have a vac leak between the control and the engine - or the blend door may be stuck.
The blower motor uses a resistor to change speed, high speed bypasses the resistor. Check the resistor for melted wires inside.

How to reset the printer ?

Get out your hoover, and see if can blow. Paper fluff can cover the sensor. Don't use a hair dryer or anything that blows hot air, as this can damage the printer.

If your vac can't reverse (Blow) take it to a PC shop, they usually have a PC blower in the back office & just ask them nicely.
