Hi there,
Normally, the Wii remote will work properly unless dropped on the floor or banged against any hard surface. The Sensor connected to your Wii can sometimes end up dying because of normal use. This can be purchased for a mear 10 dollars at any Wal-Mart. If the sensor is not the problem, make sur that you are at the same level as your sensor when playing games. If you happen to be higher or lower, your Wii remote may end up moving unvolantarily around for no reason. The Wii remote is sturdy and has never broken up for me for the past 2 ½ years. Does the problem arise only when you use the docking station battery? If so, the battery would be the problem. I have stopped using this battery because of problems like these. I would recommend recharable Ni-hM batteries instead.
Hope this helps,
Regards

I haven't played my wii in a while and have just plugged it all in and my controllers are not working. They don't seem to be charging in the docking station, their individual docks are not lighting up...

Yes they should light up blue when they are charging.
Double check and make sure your docking station is still plugged in and turned on.

Most Docking stations are third party accessories, meaning, they were not manufactured by Nintendo. Some of them do not work very well.

If all else fails, remove the rechargeable battery pack from the Wii Remote and put regular AA batteries inside of it. The Wii Remote should work just fine.

Personally, I prefer to use rechargeable AA batteries rather than charging packs or docking stations. The charge packs/docking stations just never seem to work as well as they're supposed to. The rechargeable AA's work great and they're much more versatile since they're not limited to use in the Wii.

My wii remotes do not charge on the docking station

Do you have the Rechargeable batteries for the Wii-Motes in? (Special)
If not, Try wiggling them around and see if the light comes on, or, they may already be fully charged, Also, make sure the charging dock is plugged in. You'll need to remove the jackets the controllers are in to charge them.If you still can't get them to charge, I'd recommend checking Nintendo, Or the manual for the charging dock. (It is a charging dock, Right? Because there is a dock that goes on the Wii that's NOT supposed to charge them)

When charging the wii remote should the docking station be lit up blue or red

HI,

THE DOCKING STATION SHOULD INDICATE BLUE WHEN CHARGING AND GREEN WHEN FULLY CHARGED IF IT SHOWS RED IT IS INDICATING A FAILURE IN THE REMOTE TO MAKE AMPLE CONTACT DUE TO SOME HARDWARE PROBLEM. YOU MAY CONTACT THE SERVICE CENTER IN YOUR MANUAL FOR REPLACEMENT IF STILL UNDER WARRENTY OR YOUR NEAREST RETAIL STORE IF NOT UNDER WARRANTY.

HOPE THIS HELPS THANKS!

Wii controller keeps blinking on and off when i turn it on

It sounds like you are using a rechargeable battery. When it is in the docking station, make sure that the strap and the gel cover doesn't get in the way of the wiimote making contact in the docking station.

Just got a nintendo wii with a docking charger for the remotes and plugged it in and the led light is just constantly flashing on it without a remote in it and it wont stop

Take the docking station back and get a new one. They all work differently, there might be a short, it might be normal for it to do that. another docking station will tell you if its normal, unlikely to get the same fault twice

I have two Wii remotes with rechargeable batteries that were working fine at first, but now one of the remotes won't even turn on or light up. I've tried re-syncing the remote, but it doesn't work.

I called Nintendo and they said that the charging station most likely fryed my controller. Nintendo doesn't currently make any charging stations and recommends that if you want rechargable batteries, to buy the ones that come in a package and recharge in a seperate dock that doesn't stay inside the Wii remote. The charging stations that are out do say Wii on them, but they are not Nintendo approved and may cause problems like mine. They said to always look for the Nintendo seal of quality if you want a trustworthy product. As for me, I have returned my charging dock and the new remote.

Wii docking station

try new (non chargeable) battery's and if they work then you have bad battery's, if they dont you have a problem with the remote or unit.

Wii remotes dead

Problem in the sensor bar. Remove it, invert it several times, refix it and resynchronise.
