Question about Squier Music
That number matches a guitar made at the Fuji-gen Plant (Fender Japan), between 1984 and 1987.
However it might indeed have been made in Korea. This is typical of Squier guitars from the 1980's. When Fender produced guitars in Korea, it did not keep proper records of serial numbers from there before 1993. So, if your guitar actually says 'Made in Korea' it MIGHT have been made in 1987, in the Young Chang or Sung-Eum plants. That's as close as we can get.
