Where is the finel drive and where do you check it

Your bike is shaft drive so that is your final drive, on centre stand try to rotate shaft by hand back and forth, then the wheel back and forth to take up any slack. There will be some play in it (called backlash) but excessive play will make gear changing lumpy and feel sloppy. Your manual should give a better idea of how much is too much

Depends if it is front wheel drive or not, Generally rear wheel drive vehicles will have no free play in the transmission. this all comes from the diff, best bet is to drop the tail shaft and check the free play against manufacturers specs, if its outside of those specifications pull the diff out and inspect.

Update the drivers and check, also try and use a lens cleaner on the drive and if the DVD does not read then the drive is faulty and must be replaced. Finally you can check this on another PC to confirm.

Playing dvd's from camcorder on laptop...

I have this video camera. It seemed like a good deal at $200 at Christmas time. It is suppose to be able to record on DVD-R, +R disks. (re-writable and write disks) I have had issues with not being able to finalize the disk. I found you needed to keep at least 5 minutes on the disk to finalize it. It will not play in any DVD player or a Computer till it is finalized. The info stored on the disk is in RAW form. Finalizing it will create a "lead in" and "lead out" and a menu for your computer and/or DVD player to understand. A large part of whether it will play or not, is what is your DVD Player or DVD Drive on you computer capable of? DVD Players usually will play anything that has been finalized, same with your DVD drive on your computer. BUT! Yep there's a but, sorry. DVD players and DVD Drives sometimes can only read one type of disk. Either a DVD-R or DVD+R, some may not be able to read a re-writable disk too. Look through your manuals on your Laptop and your DVD Player(s) and try to match the correct media (i.e. DVD-R or DVD+R Write or Re-Writable) I found that between my PC and my DVD Player, that DVD+R would work without a hitch for both electonics. Download that software that Samsung gave you in with the video camera. It may end up loading the driver software to help you're computer to recognize the video DVD you are trying to play. Oh, and make sure you really do have a DVD player/burner drive installed. I went to play a movie on my wife's Laptop and found it came with a CD drive and no DVD drive. That's not what I ordered and I was about a year to late to complain to the company. :( Hope that helps.

If your DVD Player is playing burned DVD, then its OK. Before erasing dvd data from your PC, confirmation of DVD Disc on another dvd player would be fine.

Finalizing both sides

A Dual Layered (DVD-R DL) disc has two recording layers on the same side of the disc. No recording is made on the 'other' side of the disc.

Finalising the disc will finalise both layers. Most probably your computer DVD drive cannot read both layers of the DVD-R DL disc. DVD-R DL discs can only be played back on DVD devices that are compatible with dual layered discs.

Check your computer DVD drive spec to see whether it can read DL discs.
