SOURCE: phone set up

This phone is a Merlin Magix system phone. The time is stored in the main control unit, not the telephone. You have different times on different phones??? I do not see how this is possible unless the clock is broken and not updating the phones with the correct time. If that was the case every time you unplug a phone and re-connect it the time may be reset to 12:00 on that phone. Avaya has all their manuals available on their web site. I'd suggest going to www.avaya.com and searching for "Magix time"

SOURCE: I need to set timing on a c1500 1993 4.3

If it is the same as the 4.3 in my 93 s-10 blazer the firing order is 1,2,3,4,5,6 with 1 being front dead center of ditributor(closest to intake manifold) if it is located at rear of engine. As you're standing in front of vehicle facing engine front right cylinder is #1 middle is #3 rear is #5. On left side #2 is front #4 is middle and #6 is rear. On my Blazer I have to disconnect the EST wire which is located inside the vehicle just below heater housing on passenger side(at top of floor carpet) in order to set timing. It is a single wire connection. Don't know if it is same location in the 1500. There should be a lable on top of the radiator area with the degree to set timing at. It is 0* for the s-10. If you have a parts store handy and have a few dollars available pick up a Chiltons soft cover repair manual for you vehicle. I got one for mine and it has been really useful. Hope all of this is helpful. I'll check to see if you get it set. KS

This is not for Tag Heuer, it's for TGHK watches. Here's the procedure: Press the MODE switch to step through the modes until you see the seconds blinking (righter after the ALARM set mode). Press the RESET switch to advance to the function you want to change (e.g. hours). Press the START switch to increment the hour to the correct time. Press the RESET switch to advance to minutes and, again, increment the setting using the START switch. (Hold the switch down to advance the numbers rapidly.) When you have stepped through all the elements and have everything as you want it, press the MODE switch once to return to normal time display. To set the ALARM: Press the MODE switch to display the alarm function. Press RESET once to see the hours blinking. Press the START/STOP switch to advance to the desired hour. Press RESET to advance to the minutes and set the minutes using the START/STOP switch. Press the RE#SET switch. The time will stop blinking. Set the alarm sound for either ALARM or CHIME using the START/STOP switch. Press MODE to return to the time display. To turn the ALARM off: Press the MODE switch to advance to the alarm mode. Next to the AL indicator there will be either a small ALM or CHI displayed. Press the START/STOP switch until they both are off. Press MODE to return to the time display.

How do i set my alarm and when do i know it is on or off....keeps coming on and i dont know how to shut off the alarm...thank you

This clock radio features a dual alarm system, with two separate alarms that can be operated independently. The alarms can be set to wake two people at different times, or to have a main alarm and a backup. One alarm features your choice of radio stations as an alarm wake sound, while the second features a buzzer wake sound. You can set the radio alarm, the buzzer alarm, or both alarms.
Setting Radio Alarm
1. Press the "Alarm Set" Button. The display will flash and the Radio Alarm Indicator will appear. If you do not begin setting the time within ten seconds of pressing the it, the display will stop flashing andd you will need to press the "alarm Set Button again. 2. While the display flashes, press the "Tuning/Set" Buttons to set the wake time. Hold a button for a few seconds to advance the time rapidly. Be sure to set the correct AM/PM time, as shown by the PM Indicator. 3. After setting the radio alarm time, you will need to select the station to wake up to. First, press the "AM/FM" Button to select a radio frequency. Next, select a station using the "Radio Preset Buttons". Rotate the Volume Thumbwheel to set a wake sound volume level. 4. After setting the radio alarm wake time and sound, you will need to select your 7-5-2 setting. The 7-5-2 setting lets you set the alarm for a full week, weekdays only, or the weekend. Before setting the alarm, be sure that the correct date is set. 5. After you have set the radio alarm wake time, wake sound, and 7-5-2 setting, press the "Alarm Set" Button twice so that the display shows the standard, non-flashing display.
Setting Buzzer Alarm
1. Press the "Alarm Set" Button twice. The display will flash and the Buzzer Alarm Indicator will appear. 2. While the display flashes, press the "Tuning/Set" Buttons to set the wake time, as described above. 3. After setting the buzzer wake time, use the "Date/7-5-2" Button to select the buzzer. 4. After you have set the buzzer wake time and 7-5-2 setting, press the "Alarm Set" Button once so that the display shows the standard, non- flashing display.
Activating the Alarms
1. To activate the radio alarm, press the "Radio Alarm" Button so that the Radio Alarm Indicator appears on the display. As long as this indicator appears, the alarm will sound at the set time and days. 2. To activate the buzzer alarm, press the "Buzzer Alarm" Button so that the Buzzer Alarm Indicator appears on the display. As long as this indicator appears, the alarm will sound at the set time and days. 3. When the alarm sounds, press the " Off/Reset" Button to turn off the alarm while still maintaining the programmed 7-5-2 alarm settings. To turn off an alarm and cancel its 7-5-2 settings, press its "Alarm Button" so that its Alarm Indicator no longer appears on the display. 4. To activate the snooze feature, press the "Snooze/Night-Light" Bar when the alarm sounds. The alarm will shut off for approximately nine minutes before sounding again. The feature can be repeated several times during the one-hour snooze cycle. 5. If it is not turned off, the alarm will sound for an hour before stopping. As long as an Alarm Indicator appears on the display, the alarm will sound at the set time, according to the 7-5-2 settings.

My tv will not come on. The power light blinks 3 times, pause, three times, pause... Can you help?

YES, IT is short protection and 98% chance one of the resistors that protect the convergence circuit is bad.

Good news here:Set is fixable and total parts cost will be under 25 dollars (seller I know on Ebay).

If you want to confirm this: with set unplugged, remove back cover and locate the two heat sinks with fins that have two of the STK-392-110 convergence chips---look at all the light blue resistors in front of them---I bet you find one white in the middle--gone.

Set detects no voltage and a short and shuts down--3 blinks code.

I have start to finish, step by step instructions for this repair that tell everything you will need and how to do the repair--the instructions are based on my own experience doing this repair in these sets hundreds of times.

If photos and info here help and you want the step by step (I can not give my email here.....)rate this solution as very helpful as I am doing this here for free.

    SD TECH

cd48042.jpg Chips look like this but metal in your set will be silver.

protect resistors in front will be light blue in color and most will be marked 2.2 which means 2.2 ohms is value.

Very common problem. 3 blinks means the convergence circuit has failed . Heres a link to the repair kit for your model which contains both convergence IC and the feed resistors and the kit has step by step instructions with pictures so you can easially do the repair yourself.
