HELO!PLEASE CAN I GET A HELP? MY LUMIA521 CAN'T READ SIM CARD.

Remove back cover and remove battery and check sim is properly fixed in side sim slot or not. If sim is loose inside sim slot then put some paper packing make it properly fixed also remove sim and rub with cotten lock the golden part of the sim and insert again. Also check the sim in another mobile and if in that mobile sim also not recognized then there is issue with your sim card replace it.

There is another Solution to get out sim card error / Invalid sim card from...

How to correct sim card error / insert sim card

Procedure to follow

Step 1: Check the sim tray or sim seater to see if it it broken, if it is, replace it
Step 2: If the sim seater/tray is not broken, clean the entire terminal.
Step 3: If the sim seater/tray is not directly on the board, trace the broken led and solder it, or you replace the broken led with another sim tray.
Step 4: If it is still not working, change the battery and put a new battery, because a virus infected battery will always give such problem.
Step 5: Finally, if the problem still persist, then check the sim card and replace with another sim card if the former is bad because a bad sim card will always display such message as insert sim card or sim card error.

How do i fix this problem with my at&tphone and tmobile sims card

Check with your provider that you have an active SIM card for your phone and service. This can also depend on your area of operation. This can depend on the provider and they may not have provisioned your service yet.

Here are some forum links to help you with:

Not reading sim card

Are you sure the card is inserted the right way???

The sim card and phone may not be compatable. If the phone is locked, it may not work. For example, a T-Mobile sim card won't work on a locked Att phone and vice versa. Many times you can call the company that originally sold the phone and get an unlock code for it.
More information on the phone and sim card is needed.

I got Samsung corby plus gt-b3410 from India, I tried using it with Australian network sim but it is showing me sim crash. is it because it is locked? if locked how to fix the problem?

Yes, it is. Your phone still locked from other network and you need to unlock it before you can use with australian network sim card. To fix this problem you must have samsung corby b3410 unlock code for india network ( your original sim card network ). You can get samsung unlock code from third party sites since it will be difficult if you must request from india network (over continent, it will cost your telephone bil).

Inncorrect SIM card.

  • Clean the connectors on the SIM card with a soft brush, cloth or q-tip moistened with any type of unflavoured, colourless alcohol.
  • Check whether the card is damaged or worn in any way.
If your SIM card is damaged or does not work properly after cleaning, please contact your operator to obtain a new SIM card.

Your phone is probably SIM-locked to a specific operator's SIM card. This is usually the case when you buy the phone from an operator. SIM- locked phones may be unlocked – contact your operator for more information.
