No one will have that exact part. However you may find something that might work at a well stocked hard ware store; as a last resort you can but a new mount for the telescope.

Electronics don't work. Sent back to Meade for a month. Received back from Meade last Friday. Still doesn't work. No lights, no nothing.

You do have batteries ?? or getting power from 12 volt power supply?

If yes -- and NO red light on the telescope control panel, then send it back again! They never fixed it!

Telescopes have a VERY small field of view. You must be pointed directly at the object. Why not practice focusing during the day time on a distant object, and then try for a large target like the moon at night.

The clutch is not engaging in RA. Maybe the gears are not actually meshing together? A loose worm gear?

You can open it up and look and see if anything obvious is loose. Otherwise it's a trip back to Celestron.

Sky objects are VERY small the scope must be pointed directly at them--- try for the moon first --- to learn how to focus properly. Just pointing it toward the sky will not do you any good.

The screws should be short enough not to stop the primary's travel, but pull them out and try it again. Good luck! George.
