My children had a change in taste buds when they ate their meal. When they drank water throughout the day they had pain follow.

You should discontinue this over the counter vitamin regimen until all symptoms subside before considering restarting with a lesser dosage. Vitamins for people of all ages can sometimes exceed 100% for a given day's recommended total. When you combine this with the amount taken in through normal diet, for instance Calcium gained by drinking milk plus Calcium in the vitamin, you can risk an overdose on the vitamin. Overdose can occur with anything and this will pose certain dangers to children as they grow. While it is admirable to desire to provide children with all the vitamins and nutrients they require to grow, one must be careful not to over-do it, as the saying goes with too much of a good thing.

Can I mix two different pre-workout supplements together?

It is not the best idea to mix two together because then you'll probably consume way too much caffeine. Also, many pre-workout supplements contain similar ingredients so if you don't feel like the recommended serving is strong enough, you can always add a serving or simply try a different product.

I would like to start and take a multi-vitamin. Should I worry of having any side effects?

Multi-vitamins are very safe, especially if you buy it from a high quality brand such as Centrum and GNC. Of course, large amount (especially if you overdose) of different vitamins or minerals could cause some side effects:

Too much iron can cause gastrointestinal problems such as heartburn and upset stomach.

Stimulating vitamins taken before sleep can cause sleeping issues.

Too much Potassium and calcium can cause upset stomachs.

Too much magnesium will make you have diarrhea.

What is the 2 classification of vitamin

Fat soluble vitamins
These vitamins are soluble in fats, oils and in fat solvents like alcohol, etc. There are four fat soluble vitamins. They are: Vitamin A, Vitamin D, Vitamin E and Vitamin K.
These vitamins are stored in liver and are not readily excreted in urine and are not absorbed in the body unless fat digestion and absorption proceed normally. Among all the four vitamins only Vitamin K has a specific coenzyme function. Fat soluble vitamins are made up of one or more carbon units and hence they are called Isoprenoid compounds.Their deficiency can cause malabsorptive disease.
Excess intake of these vitamins may cause hyper vitaminoses. Water soluble vitamins
These vitamins are soluble in water. They are again divided into B complex vitamins and non B complex vitamins. B-complex vitamins are - Thiamine (B1), Riboflavine (B2), Niacin (B3), Pyridoxine (B6), Biotin (B7), pantothenic acid, Folic acid and Cyanocobalamine (B12). Vitamin C is the non-B complex vitamin.
These vitamins are not stored in the body (except B12). Hence, they are to be continuously supplied in the diet. The biochemical reactions of these vitamins is through co-enzymes. The common deficiency symptoms of these vitamins are Dermatitis, glossitis, diarrhea, depression, etc.

What is the vitamins of the brain

Here are descriptions of the main types of vitamins that can affect memory and brain power:
  1. B Vitamins. Research shows that B vitamins improve memory by creating a protective shield for the neurons in the brain. B vitamins break down homocysteine, which is an amino acid that is a toxic poison to nerve cells. These vitamins also aid in the production of red blood cells, which carry oxygen, an important brain nutrient. The most important B vitamins for memory include B6, B12, and Folic Acid (B9). You can increase the B vitamins in your diet by taking vitamin supplements and by consuming healthy, natural foods such as spinach and other dark, leafy greens; broccoli, asparagus, strawberries, melons, black beans, leeks, and other legumes, citrus fruits such as oranges and grapefruit, and soybeans.
  2. Antioxidants. Vitamins C, E, and beta carotene are antioxidants and are also important vitamins for memory. Antioxidants protect brain tissue by breaking down free radicals, which are toxic forms of the oxygen molecule natually found in the bloodstream. Antioxidant vitamins and memory are linked because the damage free radicals do can impare the functioning of the neurons in your brain. Like the B vitamins, in other words, the antioxidant vitamins prevent damage to the basic brain structures.
Supplementing with antioxidant vitamins daily is recommended. In addition, these vitamins can be found in naturally occurring foods such as blueberries, strawberries, and other berries; sweet potatoes; red tomatoes, spinach, broccoli, green tea and other types of tea, nuts and seeds, and citrus fruits such as oranges and grapefruits.
Note that with some of these foods, you get both the B vitamins and the antioxidants - a double dose of vitamins for memory improvement!
  3. Omega-3 Fatty Acids. Omega-3 fatty acids are not really "vitamins" as such, but important fat molecules that enhance memory and brain function. So much is said about so-called bad fats, but the Omega-3 fatty acids are actually a class of good fats. These fats help protect the brain against inflammation and high cholesterol. That's what makes these fatty acids good vitamins for memory improvement.
