SOURCE: stopped working full of washing

THat usually points to no outflow of water. Possibly a blockage or a failed pump.

YOU MAY HAVE TO TAKE OFF THE BACK OF THE MICROWAVE TO FIND THE FUSE. YOU MAY ALSO BE ABLE TO LOOK UP ON LINE WITH THE MODLE NUMBER TO GET A MANUAL THAT WILL TELL YOU WHERE IT IS LOCATED.

The F5 error code indicates a humidity sensor failure. I recommend having the humidity sensor checked & replaced if needed.

Microwave does not shut off unless door is open

Is your microwave screen showing time in display screen.if not then it's most probably the relay which got stuck and giving juice to transformer even the control board stop sending signal. Since there are two switches in a loop ,one relay and one is your door switch. So when you open door it breaks circuits and the microwave stops. However , the could be a faulty control board. You can check it by using your DMM and chck voltage across the leads which drives relay. But be careful microwave capacitors have 5000 volts in it. Short them before started to work on the microwave. F5 Sensor Error?

Hi,
The failure code list says to replace your Electronic Oven Controll. Contact a Frigidaire parts dealer and check the price and availability.
You will need to give them your make and model number.
Buckle up! It may get expensive!

Good Luck!

F5 lights comes

It's a shorted humidity sensor.

You can find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.

There should also be a "mini-manual" (tech sheet) hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting, testing, and locating components.

At our site, we have a video available showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.
