SOURCE: I'm looking for the code for our MX-600 RF remote

Hi,

Please try the following codes 442 or 001.

If these do not work I suggest you try to program your remote control in automatic mode. This works by sending out a series of Power Off commands for the different brands that are stored in the library of the remote.

One of these commands should power off the DVR and this is the code you need. If the auto feature does not work this is an indication that the required code is not programmed into the library of this remote and it is not compatible with your receiver.

However there is a strong chance that it will work.

To see exact instructions on how to do this please download this manual

The instructions begin on page 16 under 'Auto Scan With Three-Digit Number'

Please leave a vote for the solution if it helps. Thanks.

SOURCE: I have just connected my android tv box dual core

Usually HDMI 1.3 (or higher) and composite video carry sound from the external TV box .Other connections, like early HDMI, component, YGB etc) don't have a sound feed. So you may need to make sure that you have the audio out of the Android TV box connected to sound-in on the TV or external amplifier.
Check the volume settings on the Android TV box AND on the TV itself.

SOURCE: My mx android tv box won't switch on to home page or return there so I can't get to android side I don't know if I hit always instead of just once Mark

On your box is a reset button.push in with a tooth pick. Release unplug power connect. Then push reset button again wait 10 seconds while holding reset button re plug right hand power cord. Release button and wait. Information box will appear click top section to reset. This should resolve problem. If not you will repeat when screen appears scroll down to reset to factory settings. Follow steps to connect again. I hope this works. Also do a search on youtube.

I have an mx3 android box was working great. All of a sudden after I downloaded some shows try to watch them, click on android player it will not load anymore. Goes back to download screen.

Hi there, have you tried a different player like MX player or vlc? If you don't have them installed, you can download them from the play store. If your files don't play on any other player then the problem is with your downloaded files. If they work on one of the other players then the problem is with your android player. May need to be updated or it may not support the file type of your downloaded files. MX and vlc support pretty much every file type, so if your files don't work on them, then they didn't download properly or are corrupt. Hope this helps.

How do I play movies from my external hard drive connected by USB to my MX android TV box.?

The TV should support the file system to read the directory structure of the Hard disk and also the the file type to read the video file. Try mpeg / jpeg file on a thumb drive on the same USB port.

Hard reset

I had the same problem on 2 of these players! I was able to fix it by downloading the updated firmware and burning the image file to a blank SD card and it worked. Here is the link for the web page that has the download links. Use Google translate as it is in Spanish! http://www.taringa.net/comunidades/android4all/8374505/Hard-reset-tv-box-kworld-sp-1200.html Make sure you download both files as one contains a program to burn the image to the SD card and includes instructions in English on how to do so. The other file contains the firmware update image file from kworld made specifically for the sp1200. The update can only be made through the SD card slot directly and not the USB port! I fixed both my boxes this way and the new firmware works way better. They stream video better than my other box with a quad core processor and android 4.0.4 has better video settings and full USB support. I hope this post will help someone else as it was driving me crazy spending $200 on 2 paperweights. -Dave

How to unfreeze coby mp600

Hello

Download the firmware update and save it to a location on your hard drive that you will be able to remember. This firmware includes a specific fix for the multiple reasons that the device is freezing.

Press and hold the "Menu" button on the player, then connect the Coby to your computer's USB port. The power on the MP3 player must be turned off when completing this step. If your MP3 is frozen, unable to be powered down, use the push pin to push the "Reset" button on the bottom of the device.

Let go of the "Menu" button on the player once the "Found New Hardware" screen appears. When asked if Windows can connect to Windows Update to perform a search for the necessary software, click "Yes, this time only," then click the "Next" button.

Choose "Install from a list or specific location(advanced)" to determine where Windows should look for the driver files, then click on the "Next" button.

Place a check mark in the box labeled "Include this location in the search," then click "Browse." You can search for the directory location where you saved the driver file in Step 1. Double-click the driver package and select the "usb_driver" sub folder as the driver location. Click "OK," then "Next."

Select the "m3usb" file from the "usb_driver" folder when prompted on the next screen, then click "Open" and "OK." The "Completing New Found Hardware" screen will appear once the drivers have been successfully installed, then press "Finish."

Unplug the Coby MP3 player from your computer.

Double-click the "USB tool" EXE that is located in the "MP3 Firmware Update" folder that you downloaded in Step 1. The USB Tool application's welcome screen appears on your computer.

Press the "Menu" button on the Coby MP3, holding it down as you reconnect it to your computer. Your MP3 is now identified as "Device 0" within the USB Tool, and you have a yellow-colored status box when connected.

Click "Burn NAND" to begin the firmware correction process. After about four or five minutes, you receive a notification saying, "Burn Task Completed."

Disconnect the MP3 player from your computer, and wait for the device to power up completely.

Click the next series of green boxes that have red lines going through them on the screen with your finger or a stylus until the menu appears. You see them in the top-right and lower-left corners of the MP3's screen as calibration on the device is being completed. The firmware is now installed.

My blue ray player will play regular movies but not Blue Ray DVDs. The player is brand new. This is second player. Same problem. I have two HDMI cables tried both. Also TV new Samsung.

Go to Samsung.com and download the latest firmware for your model player.

They have versions fot both burning to a cd/dvd or using a usb stick. The usb stick is the easier way to install it.

The firmware may need to be loaded twice for it to take effect.

Good Luck!
