Most portable SD stick readers come with a USB connection so you just stick it into any spare USB port (see USB adaptor pic).
If you have an SD to SD adaptor that fits a small SD card into a larger SD card holder (see SD adaptor pic) then you also need one of the SD stick readers (above)
The below are the types of cards that your Hitachi Device works with :-
It's an all in one USB 2.0 Memory card reader , compatible with almost all types of usually used memory cards like :-
SD card,
CF Card,
xD Card,
Sony Memory Stick.
Your data would be read just like a floppy drive or another removable media , just plug in this card reader in your PC's USB slot and then you can use all the slots for memory card separately. It will also have a separate drive letter for each slot for memory card that you see.
Hope this helps ...:) Your feed back would be appreciated.
Your laptop may not have a sd memeory card slot, if it has it should be either the front or either side, if none there, you can link your mobile phone to your laptop using a compatable usb. Should have had one provided when brought your phone.
HI. The best way to isolate the issue here will be to extract the SD card from the e250 and insert it in not your PC SD card slot to(use a usb SD card adapter if you do not have a SD card slot on your CPU) check the integrity of the card. If you are able to retrieve your media off the card while it is inserted in your PC, this will confirm that the card is not the issue and that the actaul culprit will be the program on the e250. In this case, reset your e250 device as stated in your manual y pressing the reset button. Once it is reset; Update your firmware. This should correct the issues.
On a PC with SD card slot, an SD card is handled pretty much the same way as any removable media. External SD card reader/writer devices with USB connectivity come for 10-20 US$. Make sure the little slider on the side of the SD is not set to "write protect" and you format it just like a floppy disk (Windows: right click on the media icon, and select "Format").
This mp3 player does not appear to have SD card support. In general terms, however, if you plugged a USB flash drive into one USB port of your computer, and then plugged an SD card into the SD card slot on your computer, you can then double-click "My Computer," and then double-click on "Removable Drive F" or whatever your computer is calling the USB flash drive. Then, open a second instance of "My Computer," double-click on the SD Card logo, and then drag files from the USB flash window, or to the SD card window as appropriate.
Another way to do this without opening a second instance of "My Computer," would be to open up the icon for the USB flash drive, right-click on the first file that you want to transfer, and then select "Explore." The window will then change - you will see the file or files you want to transfer on the right, and all available drives (including the SD card icon) on the left. Drag and drop from there.
