That's a "REALLY TRICKY BIZ MAN !!", opening the watches is nerve racking to say the least. Just out of curiosity, was your watch a "waterproof watch" by chance? They have these intricate rubber gaskets, so small I can't think of anything to compare them to & when you go to change the battery, even when a pro does it at the store, it does not always work!(I got a free new watch when my $6 replacement battery messed up the timer, and couldn't be fixed properly !! Felt sorry for the clerk, & HAPPY for me !).

I don't men to insult you in any way, but are you 100% sure you have "ALL" the pieces, and they arer all in the right place? Of course the other obvious thing is to just go to Walmart, or some lower end jeweler, and ask for some advice, help, or even "Ya got any great deals on a watch man? "
Good Luck To You !

Resetting timex ironman triathlon 30 lap FLIX after changing battery

this is the most important and confusing part in my opinion. On the white sticker the directions read: "after battery insertion, short pads to reset". this should look something like an oval with a line cutting it in half (vertically). It is not on the battery but next to it. You will need the paper clip here to hold down the right most side (at somewhat of an angle). this should do it! you'll know if your digital faces flashes numbers at you and may even light up. Make sure you hold down long enough.

6. Once you have the numbers flashing, you are good to go. Put the back of your watch back on, taking note of which screw goes where. Then, set your watch accordingly and you have just changed your watch! Ta-da!

Follow these steps and you should be good. Good luck to all!

How does one replace the battery used to power timex rush T44361

Hi Debra, yours might be similar to my IronMan watch...... 4 small Philips head screws to remove then back comes away to reveal a sticker that has 2 clips either side, use a safety pin point to release the clips and the battery comes off with the sticker! The battery is placed with the total flat side upwards! Hope this helps!

Timex electric watch not running

Hi Mark,
It appears to be a battery problem. Have you changed the battery recently? How have you checked the battery? I suggest you check the battery's voltage, even if it is a new, replaced battery.
You need to be sure the battery is not the problem before looking elsewhere.
Need more detail if this does not help, including the model of watch. Also how long has this problem existed, and when did you notice a change - was there a specific time/event?

My Timex Expedition is not showing all of the numbers and parts of some of the numbers and words are faded away. The watch is about a year old and has not sustained any blunt force trauma or rough...

you had to replace your watch battery, but if not, it had to be checked by Timex watch expert. there's something wrong in the module of your watch.

Timex indiglo. Indiglo feature died.

The indiglo technology is time limited (it dims over the years with use) and cannot be repaired - have you had the watch a long time? if so, I'm afraid it's time to get a new one. Sorry!

Watch won't run

It is quite hard to fix your warch as it was left for a prolonged time with an old battery in it. This usually causes contact oxidization and sometimes an integrated circuit shortcut. I'm sure that that the movement in your Timex can be replaced as manufacturers usualy keep producing updated versions. Find the decent watchmaker in your area and ask for movement replacement, not repairs.
Expect to pay GB 20 - 30, as movement prices vary and watchmakers job is very skillfull and takes alot of time and patience, respectively it isn't cheap.
Probably the watch itself do not cost that much, but you are paying for very skilled work and at the very end you will get back your precios watch in a nice working order- all this depends on how much you like it.
And the last thing: Don't be fooled by name 'movement replacement', as except this, watchmaker must clean and polish case and bracelet (glass as well if it is made of plastic). New battery is a must as well as testing for correct timekeeping.
Hope this will help.
P.S. Next time you decide to leave your watch without attention for years- take the battery out. Then it will be safe even for 100 years.

Regards

Arthur

Timex expedition compass battery replacement?

hi
i am not an expert in this particular case but i followed theses below steps . here are they.....

Unscrew the case back with a case back tool (aka Jaxa wrench) which engages
the notches in the case back. I'm assuming the watch has a screw back - if
it has notches it does. Pop out the old battery.

In some watches you have to
unscrew a clip but in most the battery pops right out. Examine movement for
evidence of battery leakage or other damage. Carefully clear away any crud
at the edge of the case - the tiniest metal shaving will short out the coil.
Install new battery of same type. Handle new battery with non-metal tweezers
or rubber gloves, never bare fingers. Inspect case back gasket or preferably
just replace it with new o-ring of same size. Gasket should be lubricated
with silicone grease. Reinstall case back using wrench. If you are
concerned with water resistance the watch needs to be tested in a pressure
test machine. I'm sure the pros have more tips but this should suffice for a
Timex where it would not be a big loss to damage or break the watch.

i hope you can successfully replace the battery
thank you
