It could be just the shock of the transplant, treat them normally and they may pick back up with new buds

Growing indoor avocado tree from seed

Make sure it doesn't stand in water, don't give it too much. Moist is OK, but it needs to all drain out. Also, don't let soil cover the top of the seed area. Mulch on top is OK, but not right over the base.

I have a 15-20 ft. pine tree. We recently trimmed alot off the bottom of it and now the healthy branches on the tree are turning brown. Is my tree dying?

Pine trees seal themselves with sap fairly quick so you don't have to worry. If the needles are turning yellow and dropping it could be experiencing some shock or it may just be dropping needles for the fall.
If the needles are actually turning brown, check the trunk and branches for signs of boring insect damage such as hole with sap coming out.

I need a filter for Amcor Ficus Tree Air purifier

If the activated charcoal filter, take your old one apart and trim down a larger on from a competitve machine to fit yours. The same if it is a HEPA filter you want to change as well.

Otherwise metal and plastic filters can be washed. Spray with a grease cutter like 409, which will also lightly etch the metal without reacting with the plastic.

My palm tree appears to have died following a recent cold spell. the leaves have turned brown and are falling off. is there anything i can do to save the tree?

Unfortunately,no not at this point. You will have to replace them.Next year use 1x2 stakes and build a frame to fit around and over the trees.Staple CLEAR pe tarp and you have an instant temporary green house.A roll of 100yards by 20 feet at Lowe`s is about 80usd,and can be reused.

Ficus trees loosing leaves turnig yellow and falling off

How long have you had the tree?
Indoors or out?
If indoors, do you have any new plants in the house?
Have you moved the plant recently?

Your problem could be any one of:
  1. An infestation of tiny insects. Spray a solution of soap and water all over the plant, top and underside of leaves, until it is dripping. This will kill the insects.
  2. Overwatering. Hard to fix. Try transferring to a bigger pot and mixing in new dry soil. Or poke holes in the soil around the roots with the handle of a wooden spoon to let the air in.
  3. Underwatering. Put the plant in the bath, turn on the shower, set to tepid (i.e. not freezing cold and definitely not hot) and give it a good soaking. But take the pot out of the tray or dish and let it drain. It should not be in standing water. Don't water "little and often" - this is bad... give it a good soaking and then let it dry out.
  4. Chemical build up from tap water. If you see a salty-looking depsoit aorund the pot, or brown depsoits. do the same procedure as above.
Hope this helps.
