Problem with pixelating tv

I have "air service" (antenna) happens fairly frequently. Our Water jet causes it when it is turned on, possible same problem with neighbors, since it is usually same time of day. Other times I believe it to be broadcast issues and or weather related. I'd google for similar issues and the "width" of the problem.

I would like to know my full hd lcd tv was repalced with new panel due to pixel burnt. how do i acertain the panel is changed with the same part because i have seen HD lcd tv looks alike .

Well if it dosn't have the burnt pixel showing then it was changed. You can't"fix" a pixel. I am surprised that it was returned for replacement as samsung have a policy that says 3 pixels is an acceptable expectation and not warrantable.

Please rate my help++++Thanks for using GIXYA

Black line (strip of pixels not working) horizontal across screen

If a whole line of pixels is dark, you've got a bad transistor in what's called a "Passive Matrix" display. For your future purchasing decisions, while an "Active Matrix" display costs a little more, it has individual transistors for each pixel, rather than one per row and column, so when a transistor goes bad, it only turns one pixel black rather than a whole row or column.

Can I see the difference

Visually, there is very little difference to the eye of the average consumer between 720p and 1080. However, 720p can deliver a slightly smoother-looking image, due to the fact that lines and pixels are displayed in a consecutive pattern, rather than in an alternate pattern.your tv is display format is 720p and blu ray is 1080p. what happen is it will be scaled into 720p. old tv set format is 480p 720p represents 1,280 pixels displayed across the screen horizontally and 720 pixels down the screen vertically. This arrangement yields 720 horizontal lines on the screen, which are, in turn, displayed progressively, or each line displayed following another. 1080p, on the other hand, represents 1,080 horizontal lines displayed sequentially. This means all lines are displayed during the same pass. 1080p is the highest quality HD display format. 480p represents 720 pixels displayed across the screen horizontally and 480 pixels down the screen vertically. This arrangement yields 480 horizontal lines on the screen, which are, in turn, displayed progressively, or each line displayed following another.
