Every day or so the lights start flashing. The frig seems to still be cooling ok, but I have to turn it off and back on again to get ithe lights to stop flashing.
Mine did the same. 1 month after the extended warranty ran out it packed in. This is the second Zanussi that I have had the same problem on. It was a replacement for a previous faulty Zanussi. The compressor packed in or there was a blockage in the cooler. Exactly the same issue with this one. It appears to be caused by the design/positioning of the cooler matrix which reduces the life of the compressor. Will never touch Zanussi again. Elecrtolux manufacture Zanussi products and also AEG products. Would not risk buying an AEG as they are more expensive and are likely to have the same inherent problems.
I have the same problem and cant get to the bottom of it. As you say the fridge is fine and remaining at the temperature that you want it (as does my freezer section of it) and does become extremly annoying after a while.... I would be gratfull if anyone else has a cure for it !

Me too, the constant beeping is driving me insane.
Yeah, I have the same problem. At least 4x's a day my fridge will just start beeping. I open the door and see a red light (showing temp) and I just press it and it stops. What is this problem?
Over the last 2 months, engineers (4 engineers - 5 visits) have tried to fix this fridge freezer . 2 of the engineers have changed the pcb boards (circuit boards) and the beeping has stopped. The temperature is incorrect, therefore both fans have also been changed.
Currently, the temperature of fridge is still too warm and the lights are still flashing. I will be contacting Comet, again.
