Left turn signal does not work blub is good all thr rest work.

Follow the wires sounds like one of the wires may have come adrift.

Even though the bulb looks ok double check it by replacing it with a new one - they are only like $2.50.

Where's the starter on 3.0 v-6

On the front of the engine, center, next to/below oil filter, has 3 wires bolted next to each other. A little easier to reach from bottom than from the top. Mark your wires, ie: don't get them mixed up when replacing. Easy Job.

This is usually fixed by replacing the TCM (transmission control module). This is a very common problem with Hondas and replacing this part almost always fixes this problem.

Replacing a double light switch, the old switch has 6 terminals. The new metal double switch has the same but both commons are at the top where as the old one had common top and bottom. The L1 and L2 are...

You question invites guessing.

Switch is not identified.
Screw terminal colors are not identified. Load is not described.
Maybe you have double switch where 1 switch is single pole and 1 switch is 3-way.
This type switch is wired differently depending on location of hot wire supplying power to 3-way switch.

Electricians don't guess, they test.
Use multi-meter and continuity tester from home center.
Screw color is very important for wiring electrical devices.
First step is to note where each wire is located on old switch, hopefully doing that before removing wires on old switch.
And note what color screw that wire connected to.
Take a photograph.
Then determine what each wire does by testing and process of elimination.

Compare screw colors on old device to screw colors on new device.
Use continuity tester on old device and on new device to check screw-terminal relationships.

For additional help, add a comment after testing the screw terminals as described above.

One of my plugs keeps fouling after a couple days of riding. Its black and ashy, while the others look a little white. Its a 76' with the electronic ignition. She runs great, other then a slight roughness...

NGK makes spark plug caps for about $5 each. Each cap has a resister ion it. When a resister gets corroded or burnt out you have problems with the affected cylinder. You have two coils on your motorcycle , each one operates two spark plugs. Since you are only having problems with one plug (not two plugs) Your problem is with the plug, the cap, or the wire. I recommend replacing all four spark plug caps . This should take care of the problem.
If it does not , consider replacing your coils with Accell coils. The coils in the Accell kit will directly bolt into your Honda coil mounts and come with new wire and caps (the caps require screw on tops for the plugs.)
A tune up tip for your 1976 GL1000 : Take the carburetor tops off (they are held on by two phillips screws) , pull out the floating pistons , clean the pistons , and clean the inside of the carburetor tops with carburetor cleaner. This is necessary yearly maintenance on early models and will help with idling, plug fouling, take off, acceleration, and general all around performance. This should take care of the rough running.

I just replaced my battery on my 1995 Nighthawk and the power isn't coming back on. I checked the fuses and they looked okay. I don't really know where else to look.

Two things real quick, (I know they sound simple and patranizeing, but you'ld be suprized how many times somebody has brought a bie to me and had these things wrong).

1) double check that your battery is not hooked up backwards. make sure the positive cable is hooked tho the positive wire and the negative is grounded.

2) make sure the battery has been charged, not all new batteries come charged.

If niether of those issues are present, start following the wireing to look for bad connections. If a connection looks questionable, fix it.

Good luck.

1995 Honda Accord stalls when you do not press the gas petal

Sound like a clogged or defective IAC. (Idle Air Control) It's usually part of the throttle body assembly. It can be removed and the passage ways cleaned out with old fashion carburetor spray cleaner. If that doesn't help you may try replacing the IAC to see if that solves the problem.
