Sounds like milk steam apparatus is clogged. Try to disassemble this portion and clean thoroughly. Descaling will not help this section.

Why is my new delonghi icona espresso machine steam tube leaking water when I'm not using it, only making espresso.

If it is new, you should return it to the store/manufacturer. The leak should be covered by warranty, however if you attempt any self fix you would void any warranty.

For Saeco Odea Go Team De-Brewerz.com says:

1. Your coffee maker might suffer from Steam, Coffee Bolier clogging due to scale. Due to clogging you are unable to product perfect steam, temperature drop in coffee, inconsistent steam flow, inconsistent water flow etc. We strongly advise you to do regular Descaling to your coffee maker (every 200-300 cups or 2 months)

2. If your coffee maker in working condition but still light is keep on blinking means required "Descaling". Please use the food graded Delonghi or equivalent brand descaler.

3. Remove the brew unit from the machine. Check the mechanism and refit the same into the machine.

You can order to us @ www.De-Brewerz.com or buy online in India @ www.fabkaart.com

Still issue not resolved claim the warranty if recently purchased. If you are in India then contact us @ www.De-Brewerz.com

Why is my delonghi EC 250.W steamer does not work at all?

If it's just the steam wand, it's probably clogged. Remove it and soak it in hot soapy water for an hour or two, rinse, and run it through a few steam cycles in a tall cup of plain water to clear it, with the steam valve wide open. Note, the water may splash, so take appropriate precautions when steaming it!

Frother not working

The frother does not have a vacuum, it uses venturi pressure to draw up milk through a venturi at the top of the steam feed. The milk side is clogged from not cleaning enough. soak in boiling water for a few minutes and try to run it in steam mode for a while... if that doesnt work, a light lye solution will dissolve the milk residue clogging it. neutralize the lye with vinegar drawn through after the clog is gone.

(lye will dissolve you as well as milk... use gloves and don't put your face near it while it's working.)

DeLonghi EAM3400 Magnifica with broken steam spout

No offense to Irishwarrior but the answer to your question is yes, you can buy a replacement. Call Delonghi. The inner sleeve has a flat spot on the back that matches up with the steam wand. No glue, and o ring holds it in place, either the o ring is worn out or the hole in the bottom of the sleeve is partially clogged creating more pressure than the resistance of the o ring. A paper clip straightened out will "****" it out. If you need to replace the whole steam wand arm you would want to order a new "tap" valve. Delonghi can give you the # of an authorized service center where you can order one (Delonghi will not sell you "internal" parts)
