Question about Neff 24 in. S5444X1GB Built-in Dishwasher

Dishwasher will not turn on, power check done, please help

My Neff S5444 will not switch on. I have checked power and plug fuse and power is getting to machine but will not turn on. The red lights are not lighting. Machine is 4 years old and has done very little work. Is there any safety overload or blockage protection that may be preventing it to not turn on?

This looks like a power supply problem if you are sure you are getting power right up to appliance it can only be a electronic failure pcb open circuit etc anything else and the lights would still illuminate.

Hi I have no lights on my Neff s51m53xogb dishwasher. I have checked power supply at the plug and to the machine and all are ok. Please help???

If you are sure power is reaching the unit it may help to remove the back panel, (make sure everything is disconnected first)!,
inspect in for water ingress and rust. Sometimes a rusted or dirty Earth can cause these problems.
Leaving it open for 24hrs may help, also blast some air in from a compressor if you can.

How to fix neff dishwasher

Sounds like you have water in the base of the appliance caused by a leak, which in turn has activated the anti flooding device. OR the control module is faulty.
Remove appliance from housing and remove water from base, check for leaks.
OR
Replaced control module

I have a s5443 neff dishwasher no lights coming on and nothing happening. fuses ok in scockets

could be your mains surpressor or main board on the appliance. check for continuity from the plug to the board if you have it then it is not the surpressor it will be the board. if it is the board you need to find what part has caused the board to blow

hope this helps

My hotpoint washer does not turn on

There are four components to check if your washer will not turn on at all. You need to check your power supply, the door switch, the cycle selector switch and the timer motor.
Am suspecting the power supply, Your dishwasher may not be receiving any power. It is somewhat difficult to check for power at the plug outlet because the plug for a dishwasher is usually behind the unit. You should make sure all the circuit breakers of your circuit breaker panel are in the correct positions, or check to make sure no fuses of your house fuse panel are blown.
That should do the job for you. Hope this helped you.

Neff dishwasher will not switch on , checked fuses etc and positive that power is going to the machine but will not switch on,is there any safety feature such as blockage or otherwise stopping machine from...

Just went through this myself. It could be a latch switch. Open the door undo the screws that holds on the inside door panel remove the latch. The 2 black boxes with wires attached are the switches. Take them out (use your camera so you know how to put back together), take to an appliance parts place, and have hem check them. Mine were fine saving me $42.00. If this isn't it (as mine wasn't) check the in-line fuse. From the switch follow the wires into the electronics box (you will have to remove the cover. The fuse on mine was attached to the top of the circut board and it had two Tan wires attached, one of these wires attaches to the latch switch. I had it tested and yep it was bad for $12.00 I had a working dishwasher, saving me lots of $$$$$$$. I hope this helps..

The water doesn't stay at the bottom of Dishwasher & The detergent doesn'e get totaly emptied out from detergent Tray. It looks like the the residue remain in the Dishwasher & On Dishes too. Please, help...

hi there,
no indication that machine is not working,is there any power supply, check the power source, circuit breaker switch on.

Step 1: Check to make sure it's receiving power. If the unit plugs into a wall outlet, check the cord, the plug, and the outlet to make sure they're functioning properly. Also check the switch that controls the outlet to make sure it's turned on. Most built-in dishwashers are wired directly into a circuit. Check the main entrance panel for a blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker, and restore the circuit. If your home is an older one, the dishwasher may be wired to a separate entrance panel; look for a blown fuse or breaker at this panel, and restore the circuit.

Step 2: If the circuit is receiving power, and the wall outlet is controlled by a switch, the switch may be faulty. Test the switch with a voltage tester. Take off the switch cover plate and place one probe of the tester on one terminal and the other probe on the other terminal. If the tester bulb lights, the switch is functioning. If it doesn't light, the switch is faulty. Replace the switch with a new one of the same type.
this should be done by appliance technician, but if you have knowledge on this check it out.regads have a nice day, dont forget to rate me thank's

Dishwasher not starting when door closes

What your saying is suggesting a water supply issue. The Model number you've given can not be found on the Neff website.

You will need to disconnect power, turn the water supply off (under sink or behind dishwasher), disconnect the water line, put the end of the hose in a bucket or cup, turn water back on slowly and make sure water flows. Turn back off. If water flows -

Then check that there is not a restriction in the water solenoid valve. If you know how to use a multimeter, check the water valve solenoid for continuity.

Plug the unit back in, and initiate a wash cycle, and watch for voltage applied to the water solenoid valve. If you get voltage, you should hear the valve open.
Power the unit off, connect the water line, and repower the unit. Check again if water does or doesnt flow.

Let me know what you find.

check socket is ok - plug in something with a light into the same socket as an easy way of checking. otherwise go to where mains terminates on the appliance and check power is actually present - you will need a multi-meter

Dishwasher doesn't run
If you turn on the dishwasher and nothing happens:

1) Be sure the power is on, the door is latched, and the control is turned on. Also make sure the appliance cord is plugged into the electrical receptacle under the sink (some are hardwired and don't come unplugged).

2) If that doesn't solve the problem, the door switch, the timer, or the selector switch may be defective. To solve the problem, you may be able to adjust the door latch's strike slightly, using a screwdriver (turn off the power to the dishwasher at the electrical panel when working on it).

3) If that doesn't work, call an appliance repairperson.
