Question about Cell Phones
I had similar problem with Motorola and Blackberry Perl. It seems that the device may have been used or demoed at the store, and had to be re-set to factory defaults. The procedure is simple.

Reset the handset
by making sure the handset in off
press and hold the green multi function key while diong the same with the volume up button at the same time for 5 seconds the proseed with your normal pairing...
