SOURCE: 1 year old hayward h1001d pool heater clicking

Actually, the clicking is likely causing the shaking. Inside the manifold of a H100 is a stainless steel diverter plate that send some of the passing water into the heat exchanger and lets the rest past and back to the pool. When it breaks, you will hear a 'clicking' noise at it rattles in the water path. When it breaks, the flow to the heat exchanger is intermittent and you will begin to boil the water, causing the shaking. This situation is dangerous, especially without a pressure relief in the heater or pipe. As long as your water chemistry is sound, Hayward will usually cover this under warranty even if the unit is over a year old. SOURCE: My Kreepy Krauly works for 10-15 minutes and then

you may have a hose that allows air to get sucked in at times when the unit moves and the hose with crack is able to float to the surface and make contact with outside air. move hoses around and see if that helps you can also start from the closest connection at the suction port and lift the hose out of the water one section at a time hold it out of water for a moment and see if you notice any weird feeling or hear a slurping do this section by section until you get to the last hose section at kreepy head

Heater just say off and will not heat.

If the heater just says "OFF" and no other codes, the problem is at the water pressure switch. The pressure switch is right above the 2" inlet/outlet header. its about 2" across, round, and has 2 wires coming out of it. As long as you know the pump is running and pumping the minimum amount of water, then just replace the switch, and if the wiring is corroded, replace that as well. shouldnt take more than a few minutes once you have the part.

I have a 2010 viking heritage 2 spa. the owners manual says that for the primary pump, there are low, high, and off settings, but mine only goes from low to high. no matter what setting it is in, the pump...

If you have a timer and it is on a maintenance cycle that will keep it on low, A freeze control that will keep it on under about 38 degrees. If the thermostat is controlling the pump it will keep it running also. If it has a cool down mode to let the heater cool that will keep it running. These are some reasons it will stay on and their may be more. I would turn the thermostat down and if it's cold out run a heater under the cabinet and make sure that no timer is controlling the pump. Set it to low and walk away for half an hour if it won't shut down turn it up to high and back down again. One of these low speeds should be off. Good luck.

Heater wont stay on. HELP!

Have the Hayward guys come out and prove to you that it is indeed low pressure and then get an estimate for repair costs. Assuming there is no warranty in effect, you might want to locate the heater manufacturer for guidance. They may have a website that may be of help.

I have a Teledyne Laars Lite pool heater Model LLD 250N. When I turn the heater on it will run for 10 minutes and turn off. If I turn the power switch off and right back on it will run agin for 10 minutes...

It sounds like your pool heater might have a defective controller (the part, not you). Check the controller and replace if necessary. It could also be that you need to cycle the ignition sequence until the air is out of the gas line. It could also possibly be that your gas valve needs to be replaced.

Pool heater wont start but when i turn off the pump and start back again the pool heater comes on for 2 seconds and shuts off AGAIN

Heater must have water before it will fire up. There is a delay relay that may be dozing off. Not a bad thing but should be chk'd by a pool sevice.
