The pilot light to my furnace don't come on but if I put a lighter on it the gas comes and it runs the pilot light don't get red

There is a safety device on all furnaces called a thermocouple. You have to light it the correct way. You press the red button, you light the pilot light and then you wait for the thermocouple to glow red. Then you gently take the pressure off the red button. The pilot light should remain alight. If it doesn't the thermocouple needs replacing and you need a gas engineer to do that.

Is there an adjustment to have pilot light stay on after given length if time. Our rev oven pilot takes longer then one minute. About 1 1/2 min

No it is a safety feature that the pilot has to heat up the thermocouple to assure the main gas valve that the pilot is alight and hot.

My gas dryer, 6 yrs old, isn't getting hot.

best way out for you is to have it serviced, it's most likley to be a thermal couple bevice not working if this is it the pilot light wont stay alight as well,,, the thermal couple has the pilot flam playing onto it and it holds the gass on,,, if the pilot light go's out for whatever reson the thermal couple switches off the gas suply to make it safe,,,
hope this helps you out?

Igniting a Dometic gas fridge
    Electronic Ignition
    1. Open gas cylinder or pressure regulating valve
    2. Turn on Electronic ignitor switch
    3. Turn gas control knob to the MAX position, press and hold down
    4. After ignition, hold down knob for a further 15 seconds before releasing. The neon light will stop flashing
    Piezo Ignition
    1. Open gas cylinder or pressure regulating valve
    2. Turn gas control knob to the MAX position, press and hold down
    3. After approximately 10-15 seconds
press Piezo knob several times until pilot light a lit
    4. After ignition, hold down knob for a further 15 seconds before releasing
  1. Check the Pilot light is alight
  2. The flame can be controlled by aperture ©
Should no ignition occur, repeat the ignition process after 1 minute
(This could take longer than 10 seconds if the unit has been out of operation for a prolonged period or after replacing the gas cylinder. (Cause: air in the lines)
  3. Once sufficient refrigeration has been obtained in the cooling tank at the MAX position, the control knob should be turned to the MIN position by low outside temperatures or when the refrigerator is only lightly loaded respectively the ambient temperature is below +18c in order to avoid over freezing the contents.
I hope this helps you...
