SOURCE: The stapler is not working
Take a can of can air after you have removed the staples cartridge and blow out the socket that the staples fir into. Sometimes a jammed staple can stick in there and cause problems. Also if you can remove the bottom blade of staples out of the staple cartridge. Just raise that piece with the green on it and carefully remove just one blade.
If that does not work you most likely need a new stapler assembly and they could cost 2-$300. retail. If its under contract with a dealer this should be replaced for free.

When you lift up the top of the stapler (as though you are going to put staples in), does the pusher slide freely back and forth? It might be getting stuck at some point and not pushing the staples (either due to a worn pusher spring, or friction). First (after removing the staples) try spraying some light oil on the mechanism and lifting the top part of the stapler up and down a few times and observe how easily it moves back and forth. Also, with the top open try GENTLY sliding back and forth a little - if it slides fine with no sticking, try loading staples and using stapler. If it slides ok, but doesn't quickly return to it's "normal position" when pulled so as to put tension on the spring, rhen the spring may be worn and need replacing.

Remove the staple cartridge, look into the cartrige area, are there any stray staples in this area, if so remove them, cycle the unit a couple of times without the cartrige in place, check the output end, any stray staples here? re assemble making sure you pull the first row ow staples even with the nozzle of the cartrige.
Hope this helps

Did you look for a staple jammed in the driver mechanism? If the piston is stuck down, it won't respond to the trigger. Try smacking the top of the stapler onto a wooden bench to see if the force will release the piston. Make sure that you use air-tool oil for lubrication inside the tool. Hope this gets you running!
