This is an easy answer and a not so easy answer. I'm assuming you mean wireless security, one to keep your neighbors off of your internet.
A little lesson. There are basically 2 types of security, WEP and WPA-PSK. The first is simple but it slows down your connection and isn't very secure. It does, keep the dummies out of your network. The second, is more secure, BUT, if you lose the password, you just hosed yourself, because it's not visible.
